@One_of_Gods_Warriors volunteering and not handling what happens next, I guess most people are so excited to go shoot and can't handle the weight of it
#1 is so right, my girl left in the first 2 months. We also had a Sgt that just had a baby prior to deployment and every night she was shacked up watching movies with other dudes. Deployment really will test your marriage
He says stay single .. but 2 of the last pieces of advice was about Girlfriends and Wives… Kinda contradictory there.. as Sometimes it takes KNOWING YOU HAVE SOME BIGGER REASON TO DO IT ALL FOR TO SURVIVE OUT THERE ON DEPLOYMENT… A Family who Loves You, A Woman that prays for you day and night to come home to them to be back safe sometimes its this Love that helps keeps her husband safe Shot out to my Down ass Milli- Spouses that are Sacrificing and serving too… for their Husbands and Partners to serve and protect this Country and stay true and Loyal to them through it all. ( THEY DO EXIST!)
#2 is the most critical one. When I was overseas I was only spending money on my phone bill and car insurance (which was set to the absolute bare minimum cuz the family that was watching it just needed to drive around their neighborhood for ten minutes a couple times a week and change the oil when needed). After that I invested 80% into an SP500 ETF and the remaining 20% went into a high yield savings account.
My girlfriends son has been in reserves for 3 years. Hasn't saved a dime. Constantly borrowing money from his mom. He's at deployment right now and doing nothing with his money but ordering expensive stuff like Air Jordans etc. online. Just gonna have to learn the hard way. Doesn't even own a car and still living with us.
He probably joined at 18. I already had the sportscar money pit and cheating girlfriends era in my early 20s and I already hoarded games and hotwheels in that time when I lived with my parents. The military is my way now of not being forced to spend money to survive in society.
Thanks man I’ve been told so many times I’ll be getting deployed and I’m still in tradoc. You made me feel better “don’t be volunteering for no extra shit”.
I'm from south Africa yet I've always wanted to join the military we and joining the united States army would be a blessing but getting there is easier said then done
Don't use r&r for the ones you love? Yeh you obviously have a great family and definitley arnt one of the soo many soldiers that have 3 divorces and hate there life
Basically. There are mental health programs or “BHOP” for behavioral health but it’s frowned upon still. It could also affect for job if you need a security clearance or if you deploy.
Coming from someone who started his own LLC, it’s not that hard. The hard part is creating a business that’s successful. That kind of mentality will keep you from even trying though and then you’re sure to fail. Best of luck.
@julianmdelfin yeh your right I won't try because right now its polluted with people trying to start there own business and let me tell you 85% of businesses fail and go under in the first year lol you have as much chance of winning the lottery
@@SwiftyisThemann well bro I hope eventually you come around. The work and the consistent failing is good for character development at least lol. AI and no code software can help you generate ideas and game plans too.
@@SwiftyisThemannand that’s how you’ll live paycheck to paycheck for the rest of your life- with all that negativity!! Sad, that people nowadays don’t have goals, and want to better their lives and future.

Well first of all good on you! I hope it works out. Yeah man stretch and stay in shape, eat healthy. It’s really simple it just takes discipline but being a former enlisted I’m sure you got it 💪🏽
2 bananas for breakfast in the morning will curb your hunger for about 5-6 hours.. discipline tho.. if I can do it and I’m non-military- and a woman, so can you.. best of luck 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
"Don't be volunteering for no extra shit" no shit right!
It ain’t even worth it smh
What’s the extra shit?
Yea I’m curious too, can you do a full vid on volunteering , then potentially getting fucked up

It's a sad sight to see.
Don't have a girlfriend or Jodi will be taking care of her
For those who dont know, the deployments he's talking about are "vacation deployments" not combat deployments
Tell that to the homies that are no longer with us 🙏🏼
I would like to take the side of julian here, but i have friends in japan and other places 😂

SAVE YOUR MONEY - big one
Solid advice.
I was a bit frivolous with my money, but I stayed true to the rest.

Maybe you shouldn't be living with his mom. You wouldn't need to complain about him.
