As someone who has played Breath of the Wild over the years, I can say with certainty that the game is not for everyone, and that is okay. It's a game that takes the player out of the "comfort zones" of the Legend of Zelda games that preceded it. Weapons can (and will) break. Enemies that were once easy to defeat now suddenly become a challenge. Link must hunt and find ingredients in the wilderness to cook to restore health and stamina. Breath of the Wild also managed to accuately depict the weather and climate with logical game physics. Link has to wear the correct kinds of clothes to brave the elements without catching fire, freezing to death, or getting electrocuted (if he has anything metallic equipped).
The way that Breath of the Wild applies the "Day/Night" cycle also matters tremendously because it adds a greater sense of danger by including skeletons and more enemies possessed by the "Blood Moon." The soundtrack presents an excellent and effective way to warn the player whenever that happens and that they shouldn't be outside at night because the music starts playing in reverse.
The one thing about Breath of the Wild that I wish that Nintendo had handled differently was the "Yiga Clan Hideout." It's not so much because it's a stealth mission. It's because the game does not allow the player to save progress whenever Link is inside the hideout. While the mission certainly is possible to complete (if the player can find the banana stash), getting caught usually means an instant "Game Over" because there is no way for Link to defend himself.

@ZEKESPILLEDINKMUSIC Absolutley! The game changes so much that it's easy to see why some fans may not get into it.
I'm outing myself a little bit here, but Yiga Clan hideout was the one part of the game I needed to actually look up help to complete it, lol. I didn't realise you could use bananas to distract them.
      Thanks for watching!
