Pigs blood is what makes it dark not soy sauce 👍
Best Thai noodle sup I seen, Thanks 😊I love it 😀
You can wake me up in the middle of tje night for this.😤
That's how I feel about all food - Lee
No blood? The best bit
One of the best dishes i've ever seen. Thank you so much Jeremy
Glad you enjoyed it! - Lee
Once of my comfort food when i visited Thailand, i ate it Everyday during my visit
you should blanch the rice noodles in a different pot to prevent the broth from spoiling.
It won't spoil unless it's continuously simmered
This is an awesome recipe jeremy thoroughly enjoyed this episode mate 👍💯👍👍
Brilliant, glad you enjoyed it! - Lee
Soy bean no need. Use old soy sauce will have that bean paste taste. The vintage soy sauce is dark enough, no need dark soy sauce. Want instant rich base, add 2 to 3 tbsp abalone sauce, won't go wrong. Never soak your good soup with noodles and vegetables. Use boiling water separately. Meat is ok
Too yummy 😋
Looks delicious !!!
Wow! Great stuff! 👍
Thank you! - Lee
Looks stunning 👍
Thanks you, it was delicious! - Lee
@@SchoolofWok Hi Lee, a quick question..can you marinade and tenderise chicken breast cubes in a similar way you would to tenderise a steak
Appreciate your help Andy
Another must try dish.
Please do! It was delicious! - Lee
Asian with british accent is wild
Lol it's definitely rare to see!
no thai basil?
Wait... No calf blood? That's something I always tangent from boat noodles... Other than that, looks great.
Thais don’t traditionally use calf blood in Ayutthaya or in Victory Monument. It’s usually pork blood. And I find it essential. Sometimes you can find it at Asian grocery stores, but best to call ahead. 😊
That is on my list
Glad to hear it! - Lee
Can I use chicken bone instead?
Samething as PHO
Bologna, mayo, mustard, American cheese and Doritos on white. What!? I'm a white suburban New Englander who grew up in the 80's
Ingredients
Where is the blood?
No blood in the soup? Then it’s not a boat noodle soup.
Where's the blood??
bro, most people in the UK can't get a lot of those ingredients....Love your whole Channel and content but come on bro, give us recipes we can replicate please . E.G. Galangal, coriander roots, morning glory, fermented soy beans.........Yes, i know they can be replaced but it won't taste the same
You should check out this store for buying these ingredients online: www.thai-food-online.co.uk/ - Lee
I’m from Scotland and I can get all those ingredients no bother !! You can buy online as well. ☺️
Anyone know how whitewashed this recipe is?
No, you can't. Boat noodle is not an easy any day cooking meal. Every noodle seller has their own secret broth recipe. You may make it at home but will be far from authentic taste of Thai boat noodle, even in Thai restaurant abroad.
I heard some Thai vendors use sewer water for the broth 😝 😝
For that authentic taste
@i t : I'm not surprised a crap opinion from someone who eat crap as everyday meal and thinking why other people have something else to eat than crap like him. 🤣🤣
They told me when they ride the boat out to sell their noodles, and when they start to run out of broth, they use the water from the river
exactly, it kinda gives you the vibe but not the real 1:1 boat noodle alley experience.
Seriously? No blood? This really upsets me. If you are going to do your take on Thai boat noodle soup then say it's your take and not the authentic recipe. Your video is on a par with Jamie Oliver's ludicrous "Thai green curry" video. Wait until Uncle Roger hears about this.
Incredibly whiny holy
