Sadly most of the racist comments have been toward her and her daughter-in-law who is behind the camera. We had to turn off the comments on one of the videos because it got so bad. Most people are wonderful and respectful. Thank you for your kindness Gigi. God Bless you! 💖

Just found yourJamaican channel. Thanks for teaching your cuisine to the world. I have never put anything on fried plantains. I will try the cinnamon to see how it tastes. I always serve fried plantains when I have people over for dinner. I sometimes boil the plantains when they are firm but not too ripe. At least that is how we cook them. I don't know if she mentioned that you have to fry the bananas when they are very ripe. Thanks for the video.

I'm from the States & I LOVE Caribbean Ital. My Plantains came out perfect, soft, just the way I like them! I like them fried like Potato Chips too. Cooking it in Olive Oil was good because Olive Oil is very nutritionally,, does not require very high heat. I noticed the Interviewer never asked her about the nutritional value of eating Plantains. They are full of Fiber to help in moving your Bowels, Vitamins: A, B & C & full of Potassium. I will be having my Plantains with some Ackee, Jerk Beef Ribs, Jerk Chicken Wings & Smoked Grilled Crab Legs that I cooked up. I give Thanks to you for you sharing your Recipe👊🏿👍🏾
