You can also put bread in freezer and it stays fine for quite long. I usually buy lots of bread if I find them on 30-50% discount and then put them in smaller plastic bags (4-6 pieces a bag) and freeze them straight away. It takes a few hours for them to melt and then they're ready to be eaten. If the bread has been in freezer for a very long time (like months), then you can put it in microwave oven for a few seconds after it has melted and it should still be quite good. Just a tip how to save a little money these days when everything is getting more expensive. 🙂
