Be surprised if anyone can beat Medina twice to claim the title, it’s his to lose really. Same with Carissa, maybe Steph can challenge her but she’ll be gassed if she makes it to the final. Should be Medina and Moore to win the title and if so, do we ask ‘what was the point of finals day?’. Two best surfers of the year won anyway

There hasn’t been an event at lowers since 2017 and you’re complaining about one week of the world’s best catching a few extra waves? In actuality, most out there were telling them to go and stoked to watch the highest level of surfing. Get a clue.

It’s okay ride the wave with style and lay into every turn. Surfing or, better yet, progression isn’t all about who can get the quickest down the line to the end section and punt.

Not as light footed and lively as others but he murders every lip and carves with so much power and aggression that I almost feel bad for the wave 😆
