This particular accent reminds me greatly of France and makes me wanna live in the medieval era of that time to live THAT medieval atmosphere... The guitarist just fits so good in that era with his face and attitude. The woman lives the song. This is the kind of music Id like to listen to the whole day.
Her accent really doesn't sound French though! haha! ^^ But I understand what you mean, I kinda want to dance in circle with all the inhabitants of my village right now.
@@learomero2757 She's not french but obviously knows the spirit & meaning of the song = makes a superb rendition of it, vocally & instrumentally - even if the end is really... daring !
i agree with @learmero, it don't sound French. It still great. Listen to the Farya Faraji version, that sound like old French, you can tell the difference
Your music is so beautiful that I could feel it with my heart - the music races with joy and induces a kind of bliss! Please make more music with this intense magic; Though I barely understand the lyrics - The music transgresses all thought of sense!
Absolutly Wonderfull ! Can i have the lyrics for the flûte !?!
where can we have or buy the score of the introduction to the guitar? I have trouble deciphering everything by listening and looking at the fingers of my left hand où peut-on avoir ou acheter la partition de l'introduction à la guitare ? j'ai du mal à tout déchiffrer en écoutant et en regardant les doigts de la main gauche
Not transverse flutes, but still flutes -- the recorder is a type of flute, and is called something like that in most languages ("block flute" in German, "sweet flute" in Italian, "beaked flute" in French, etc.) English is a bit weird in giving these flutes the prosaic name of "recorder"!

@@RobertGuffens Well... It depends on what they intend to do. If they want to respect the original purpose of the piece or if they just want to take something existing to make it sound different than it is “supposed” to (no judgement here, that has always been done and always will). The reason, I believe, NetH de Diesbach was asking that question, is because “Le Tourdion” is a piece that is INTENDEDLY quick. The melody is supposed to go up and down fast to mimic the impression of “turning”, the first part of the lyrics literally saying : “When I drink pale wine, friend, everything turn turn turn turn.” And as the lyrics go through, it says : “Sing and drink, make war to this bottle”. It is obviously a cheerful song (as all the drinking songs are ^^). And I'm ok with the fact that they made the song mostly melancholic like they did... There can be a ton of explanations to that (one of them could be that they didn't understand crap to the lyrics of the originally written song, another one that the wanted to bring a different meaning to the song, or else, that they're sad drinkers... ^^) It's just that when you listen to it and you understand French, sounds weird because it is obvious to the ear that the lyrics and the way she sings it don't seem to fit ^^
Keep coming back to this, it's magic

Je to česká skupina, žejo? V některejch písničkách mluví česky...

The most beatiful song with recorder

It's beautiful, howerver, the Tourdion is a quick dance.... but the performance is here.
Where I can find the flute lyrics?
The French so often seem to find a place with stained glass cathedral colors to perform in. Wonderful music and wonder if it’s a dance melody.
I've seen these guys twice there MLG like I got my car CD of them signed
What kind of recorder?
A lovely performance of this song, though I do miss the other sung parts.
The guitar 👍
What is the
time signature??????????
Heya, the first slow part in 3/4, the fast ending in 6/8
What kind of flute is she playing? Love it!
+Josh Lamb The first one is an Alto (don't know which company) but the second one is Sopranino, it is Aulos 507b.
RIDDLE0MASTER Thank you :)
They are recorders, not flutes.

In many linguages it is also called flute. :)
They should be in Netflix the witcher series. They are true bards.
What guitar does he use? Beautiful stuff!
This is a standard tunnig?
👏
Someone have the lyrics? ^^ I need it!!

Did they really understood what they sing ????
Maybe they do... But we don't ^^
NIce “cover”, though :D
Eux, peut-être, mais nous... ^^
Chouette version, cela dit :D
They don't realy need to understand. Just feel by heart and soul that's enough to make music.

Excellent. And by the way folks, it's not a flute, it's a recorder.
Tchèquemate it is.
beuautiful music, but it does not really fit for those lyrics^^
very schösch
