the beautiful remission of sound wakes up my sleepy past, that I always dreamed the trees and animals understood in the coolness of the breeze .no longer need the night to be morning you can smell the breeze in the west towards the mystique

You say "ss" like in "piece" for example, when there is a cédille like this : ç. "ç" is pronounced "ss". The rule is more complicated than this and I have no time here for details. If it had been written flaçon, then you could have said "flasson"...
This is a very nice version of that "TOURDION", but they ought to have told you that "flacon" (a little recipient usually in the shape of a glass bottle toped with a liège cork) is not pronounced "flasson" !! You pronounce it : flakon with a "k". Hee, hee, hee. Flasson made me laugh. "A ce FLAKON faisons la guerre..." Thank you for your beautiful video with lovely garments and lovely men playing. Hé, hé !
Wow!!! That was just incredible, I wish I could thank them for putting on such a fabulous show. This really was an amazing thing to see (and hear!). Just incredible.
Most Renaissance citterns have nine strings arranged in 4 courses (2 strings, 2 strings, 3 strings, 2 strings), and the tuning would usually be (starting from the highest to lowest -- ee dd GGG BB (the bottom course is a 3rd above the 2nd course)
Are you sure? "flacon" shouldn't be pronounced "flasson" but "flakon", also "je bois" et "Arbois" in that time were pronounced "je boê" and "arboê", shouldn't they?
The blond long-haired singer is of course very handsome !
Musique publiée par Pierre Attaingnant en 1530 / Texte ajouté en 1949 : "Quand je bois un vin clairet...".

i love this music 😍😍😍
That guy playing the hand drum has an awesome chin.
I see where Rhapsody got their riff for march of the swordmaster.
Je ne savais pas que Perceval jouait de la guiterne ^^
Esse grupo interpreta muito bem canções medievais e tocando realmente instrumentos daquela época!!👍👍👍👏👏👏
That rocks, dudes!

To my (french) ears the pronunciation is correct ("flacon"), though...
@@JL-ij7je you're saying that pronouncing "flacon" as "flaçon" is correct? if so, it isnt

God music.
Sounds like the ending of a really dramatic episode.
ikr me you fucking tosser
Nice arrangment! Could you tell me how the cittern is tuned?
Most Renaissance citterns have nine strings arranged in 4 courses (2 strings, 2 strings, 3 strings, 2 strings), and the tuning would usually be (starting from the highest to lowest -- ee dd GGG BB (the bottom course is a 3rd above the 2nd course)
@@jackishman7707 In this case my lowest string is C rather than G.
Listen "The March of the Swordmaster" from Rhapsody of Fire xD
Flakon et non flasson mais je sais le français est compliqué , de toutes façons , bravo
Swadian anthem
nice lovely accent..... sympa léger accent charmant ;)
Beau travail !
A CalibansDream : you are excellent !!!!
English translation anyone?
É lindo demais tudo. o grupo é fantástico!
Wow ! Superbe : qui sont ceux-ci ?
The gentlemen playing the drum and singing looks like Errol Flynn in "Captain Blood". Great performance!
Beyond brilliant 👏 ❤
A nice version
Lyrics?
merci
Très beau ensemble instrumental
👍
Finally, a version where the singer correctly pronounces the words!!
Are you sure? "flacon" shouldn't be pronounced "flasson" but "flakon", also "je bois" et "Arbois" in that time were pronounced "je boê" and "arboê", shouldn't they?
I don't know about historical pronunciations, but I believe the singer is correct. It sounds like he is saying flah kahn for flacon.
@@jrousselle7828 no he says "à ce flasson faisons la guerre"
amazing...
Tyler,Eaton, Smith...british HG players just kills !!!
incantevole . . . !
Quand je bois du vin (clairet) et non pas (claret)
Et c'est "flacon" et non pas "flaçon" (?).
c'est peut etre du claret..vin de bordeaux
Ha, ha : vous n'avez même pas relevé qu'il dit "flasson" et non pas "flacon".
Par contre, le chanteur étant British est superbe. Pas moche comme beaucoup de types chez nous en France. Ha, ha !
