Hello, thank you for the detailed video and Congratulations 🎉 Could you please help me in planning for the Q bank. I also get stressed when I focus on one system and find it way easier to do more than one, but it's very difficult for me to finish the question bank. What do you recommend on doing questions everyday and how is that possible while still studying the systems ? I hope you give advice about good method to finish the question bank early and revise more .Thank you again🙏🙏
For me, i liked doing question banks. I felt like i was solving issues. If you don’t like it, try doing them in between your study sessions for 15 mins. Preferably somewhere other than your study area. You can also try doing them when you are with your family. These questions are clinical questions mostly, so if possible read the questions out to ur family (even if they are not medically qualified) just for fun. For me all these worked. So i never got bored of qbanks. I meant chapter wise qbanks. I’ll mention about this too in the coming plab video.💕
I'm really confused between plabable and medrevisions but after watching your video, things are getting clear. I just want to ask 3/4 questions... Hoping you'll reply 1. When was your exam 2. Was it UKMLA based 3. Is it better to do preps system wise or mixed
Hey bilal, 1. May 23 2. It was plab 1, ukmla has more clinical based questions, and for clinical based questions you need to retain information even more, so revising becomes more crucial. Just make sure there is no twists in the question, i remember losing marks for a clinical based question which i knew the answer for just because of a twist in the question. Just for 1 or 2 questions you can expect a twist! 3. I did it mixed, i tried doing system wise but it took a lot of time and got stressful real fast!
I didn’t read plab keys, my main aim was to retain the things i studied, I thought like even if i read other things i won’t remember everything. So i thought i’ll just focus on plab gems and try to retain everything. If you have time after learning everything in plab gems and ur revision, you can read plab keys while doing ur questions!! It will be like an extra revision!
@@Dr.Malavika_S_Aswath thank u so much for such detailed answers I still have more than 5 months and I've started a little preparation ( did 1 system). I think I've enough time to do plab keys too.
When you did your exam was it still with the PLAB blueprint map or the MLA content map? I’m so confused on which resource to use because of the changes
It was plab blueprint. I still think plabable is enough for clinical questions, mainly because u’ll get more time to revise ad hence u could remember things better.
Congratulations! I have a few q. 1) how many days/months did you study in total? 2) did you manage to do the entire q bank? 3) did you do your questions category-wise or mixed block (mock)? Thanks in advance!!
Will there be seats for PLAB 1 in India for February 25 , if I book it after December 18 . I just gave my PLAB exam on nov 7 , and I results will only be available on dec 18
Hey, if you have time do plab keys definitely give it a read. Try to finish plab gems first. personally I didn’t do plabkeys. Just did gems and qbanks and big mock. Regarding the revision part, do revise daily. After studying a portion, revise it immediately within 15mins, then the next day, then 3rd day, 7th day, 14th day , 30th day respectively. Retaining all the informations we learn is very important in this exam, since all the options might seem correct.
Do try this method, when I started, my percentage was also low in some of the subjects, but after trying this method, it was always at least 8 to 10 percentage higher than average! 💕
It depends on how many questions you are getting right! Note down all the questions you got wrong and revise them again and again. All the best for your exam💕
Hello ma'am..My name is Tridisha... I'm currently a medical student in 2nd year and I want to do my pg in uk....so my plan was to give plab in my internship .. But I recently heard that UKMLA will replace PLAB from 2024.. Is this true? and also my college is not present in the wdoms list... Does that mean I can't sit for the exam UKMLA or PLAB? Ma'am please answer this question.. It'd help me a lot.... I'm so lost after seeing this news that you can't sit for any foreign medical exam if your medical College is not ECFMG accredited ... It'd help a lot if you could CLARIFY my DOUBTS ..... Thankyou
Hey tridisha, not all the colleges are found in the list when trying to register for gmc, u can email gmc and they’ll tell you what to do next. If your college is IMC registered i don’t think it will be a problem. Just email them.
No, if your college is not seen in the list, you can email gmcregistrationservices@gmc-uk.org , and they’ll tell you what to do next. Even my college wasn’t seen, and i emailed them😃 all the best 💕 just provide all the details of your college in the email, including the university.
@@Saeee-o7q If you've received adequate score in IELTS/OET, you can check the dates after creating an online GMC account. As of now, the date available in 2025 is February 20. There should be 3 more in May, August and November, but the booking hasn't opened yet.
@@ananya4228 GMC has changed the booking method for PLAB 1 now. GMC doesn't give a date & time at which seats will be released.
