Years ago we did an all necro minion run in wvw. The gates of towers and keeps just melted. Lots of fun, until we encountered a guild zerg and we all got killed lol.
Now I want to see one with 50 turret engineers. Or 50 spellbreakers. Imagine the entire wvw map looking like bubblewrap. Or 50 power GS mirages. Cottoncandy explosion.
The problem is getting 50 semi-competent thieves together. To make it hurt they have to be glassy, and Thief isn't a class you can throw any idiot on. One of my guilds used to do theme nights where we'd do all one class, we didn't muster out to 50 (more like 20ish). And half the squad would be dead before it was time to daggerstorm, just because they didn't know how to survive on thief. There's probably not 50 semi-competent thieves in the whole game.
@@theashapeshift In WvW? Mostly just knowing where to put your feet and having patience. On defense and on offense. But it's not a thing that can really be taught. it can only be learned through experience. Most builds can't really face tank anything, but they are slippery af. That slipperiness requires experience. And even experienced thieves will occasionally get an atomic wedgie from what would be minor mistakes on other classes.
@@theashapeshift PVE? Probably. WvW? I'd stand by what I said. MAYBE if we counted NA and EU servers together. I live in WvW and have seen every NA server's offerings several times over. Off the top of my head I can only think of about 5-10 I've seen play effectively. Admittedly my memory is for shit. I damn sure couldn't tally up anywhere near 50. Either way the point would be to get them all together on one server, and even if there are more than 50 in the game getting them all in the same place would make cat herding look like an easy and enjoyable job. As a class we aren't known for being especially sociable.
