That is one massive construction! I can hardly fathom the work needed to build these structures

      It was pretty impressive right?!

@@ThompsonAtomicRanch Especially when you consider it was all done with 1950s and 60's brute force technology.

Right? Not only did they construct these massive engineering marvels in only 18 months, they did 54 of them all at once! And here I am staring at a simple bridge over the local freeway that has been under construction for 3 years... Probably at the same cost.

Awesome, I am fascinated by these sites. I hope to go and visit the Titan II Museum soon (before it gets too hot)…

It's a great tour over there! I hope you can go soon 🙂

I went last summer. It was great. Only thing was, the tour didn't cover the living quarters area, and the tour guide rushes you through. I think you can pay for a "special" tour but those were limited.

It is utterly amazing the size and strength of this design. Makes me wonder what we would build today, if we have the guts to do it. Thanks for sharing this.

During 1966 I was stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB 390th SMS. While there I worked with a SGT Brewer as electricians. We were close friends and have lost contact with him, would like any information where he lives.

Thanks! I wanted to re-upload this one with different music because the original could not be monetized due to the copyrighted music that I used.

Antenna silos and assembly were constructed in the “bathtub” too?

Do you have any data about the building costs of each of these? Looks like extremely expensive to build and run.

Are there similar videos of the Titan 1 silo's?

I hope one day soon that one of the site owners will be able to uncover and access their silo.

@@ThompsonAtomicRanch That would be awesome! Nothing like having a 13 story round house. ;)

One did. Do a search for GTs Titan Ranch. I've been in it. And remember Death Wears Bunny Slippers. You'll get it.
