What a treat. I admit my ignorance as to understanding much about the Titan I squadrons, and how vast these complexes are. Ironically I also had a clip of black and white one min clip pop up showing one in operation.Wow.

These are some great pictures for being of this age. Its the beginning of my electricial career in the Air Force at 568-A. You can tell the conduit work was done by Union workers.

This site is similar to Batum’s condition! LD, what made union workers work etiquette so particular in which you can notice that they did it?

The great job that the condit bends are made. mainly when the 90 dagree bends are parallel and eccentric. When those sites were built the electricians were trained to bend these.

@@ldr9146 perfect answer, exactly what I was looking for! It’s these little things that tell the whole story behind the construction of these sites. Thanks for the insight!

Nice set of pics Bryce, i see a lot of them are new to 724-C.. i think Nik spent a good deal of money on contamonation cleanup.. Then months later i see one of his co workers with a 4" grinder and a flap disc grinding all the lead paint off of the blast doors at the bottom of the elevator shaft.. I didn't quite understand that, but then again they are doing a lot of things that i don't understand... Bryce i wish you and your family the happiest of New Years... Thx for posting...

Hey Gary! Yes, this was probably towards the end of Nik’s ownership of the site. They gutted most of the LCC, but everything else is pretty much intact. Too worried about contaminants they were. Happy New Years Gary!

@@silopedia Are you telling me that Nik no longer owns 724-C...
All that B.S. about his plans, then guts the launch center then , well that really ticks me off...

As cool as it would be to own a missile site, I can see why you would want to sell it off. I don't think you own a missile site so much as it owns you.
