I know this question has been answered already but, yes micro farads are used for testing capacitance. This meter is a really good model for HVAC/R work because you can test resistance, voltage, temperatures, amp draw, and capacitance all with one meter. Very important to have one of these in the tool bag with how versatile it is.
I don't think you did. You can't test a changed capacitor. Have to be discharged and not connected to a supply. You can calculate the capacitance if you know the voltage, current, and frequency. But that's going to need some maths.
Hi does it read DC amps below 40amps? Bit confused with the range that is listed on the webpage. I've subbed and enjoying atlot of your videos. Great work👍
uF is capacitance, and the thermometer is great for HVAC techs reading duct work tmep and even refrigerant line temps is you don't have a pipe clamp thermometer
Ohm's is pronounced the same way as in the video in the uk, maybe other countries have a different pronunciation like "Oregano" Uk or USA spelt the same
@Alan Lumsden Of all the words to picky about. So you are fine with “rooters” & “H8chDMIs”, but the way he says ohms is beyond the pale for you? To each their own...
Looks like a nice unit. I have the kewtech KT200. It’s ok. Doesn’t have the min/max setting on amps so will need to get a different unit. Do you have or recommend an earth leakage clamp meter? Maybe the next tools4sparks video 🤔
Hi..i don't know wtf is ac dc a v or oem.. can you please help me find a meter clamp for a car which reads automatically the shit I'm putting the clamp multimeter on ?! Thanks!

I have the same meter for use at home for about 4 years now and love it to bits its simple to use and build like a tank.
Yeah great little tool
Does this meter automatically shut off if you forget to turn the dial to the off position?
@@nsmturbo5902 it does almost al current fluke meter have the battery safe function.
Capacitors failing are quite common on older circuit boards, the micro farad check would tell you if a capacitor swop out is needed.
Great to know thanks!
I use the micro farads for checking capacitors on oil boilers states on the side what they should be and you can compare :)
Nice thanks!
I have the previous model 323 it does the job and the clamp is quite handly as 3rd hand, oh and I have dropped it in a bucket of water still working
I used micofarads the other day on my boat lift motor to test the capacitor while it was running.
Nice

The farads scale is for checking capacitors out. ie if a single phase motor isn’t working, just humming. It’s likely that the start cap is gone.
Thanks! How would you use that in actual practise? Do you use the test probes or the clamp?
Probes. Test between the 2 poles of the capacitor the check the result with the size of the cap.
The farads is used on capacitors .Air conditioning systems / fan motors
I use the farad setting to check capacitors on RV ac units all the time.
Use the UF function a fair bit to test capacitors on motors. Good video, thanks
You can test temperature on breaker screws to see if there’s a loose connection.
THIS TOOL IS A MUST!!!
The hertz setting checks the mains feed and checks that the supply is 50Hz in the case of U.K.
I set according to the images that there is no auto off and no light off after 2 minutes. how to restore to factory settings ?
325 model fluke clamp meter la price Kya hain
Hz is useful for work on generators.
Niiice. I use the 376 fc and love it

Yeah I think it does but I’ve never actually tried it as I don’t work much with DC
Yeah its a little confusing how they lay it out. Up to 40A DC it will show up to two decimal places. Up to 400A it will show to one decimal place.
Did you buy the probes separately?
They come with it

I take it when you say owmsss, this is the same as the ohms i know?
How do you pronounce it?

@@thetruth5210 itchDMI. Rooter is fine.
Hi very nice product am used Oman. That's way I need send price details

You could use this for earth leakage as well
Megger dcm 305 is on my wish list.
I hate the case, you have to take it off from the multimeter to able to put it back to the pouch
Hi..i don't know wtf is ac dc a v or oem.. can you please help me find a meter clamp for a car which reads automatically the shit I'm putting the clamp multimeter on ?! Thanks!
This would be a great meter for you, it's very basic and easy to use!
If you dont know how to use a meter then you’re probably gonna have a hard time testing anything. Do some research
Nice job god bless
Poor review....No live testing for many measurements, and a ton of let me know in the comments...
You really love to make that thing beep don't you. Nice video but that beeping is very annoying Especially when you're wearing headphones
2x speed better👎🏻
