    ALWAYS
    When your coming in Dead stick and making an "impossible" turn. Use your rudder NOT your Ailerons. Keeping those wings level will lesson the chance of a tip stall.
    Unfortunately when you are trying to save a Model like this the Nerves Almost Always get the best of you!

      disagree...you always keep your wings level until either the cross wind and/or the final and you drop the nose sufficient to maintain lift over the wings as you a non-slip turn..as long as you are generating lift above the stall component you will not stall...now, if you are to low to execute the cross wind then keep the nose and wings level and hope you don't hit anything on the way down but if too low, never execute a turn.

    Side Note/not related: Did anybody else notice the excessive flutter in the flaps and ailerons when he revved the engine on the ground? That's not something you want if looking for a well put together assembly.

    As soon as he taxied onto the runway and I saw the buildings in the background, I knew.

    At full throttle flaps and aileron didn't keep neutral position, the engine was reluctant to start, this plane better should stay on the ground and been checked intensivly. Further on there was no reason for such a risky forced landing - and for flying right towards the spectators. This pilot should be grounded.

      @@JesusRocks26 you cannot say its not flamable it 100% is.
      However you can put a cigarette out 8n a cup of gasoline in a well ventilated area. But i had an accident a few weeks ago where i was working on a jet ski with a fuel system rebuild and had let too much fuel flow into the bottom of the hull.
      The idiot that worked on the ski before me made a metal battery strap that was idiotic to say the least.
      While trying to tighten down the positive side of the battery my screwdriver touched the metal of the strap and the ski pretty much exploded in my face.
      Luckily i wear glasses and a beanie i also had long a sleeve shirt on so i only got minor burns. I also always have several fire extinguishers very close to where i work. Funny because i have, up until now, never needed one.
      But always know theres a risk and now im very happy i have always been paranoid of fires.

  • @americanspirit8932
    @americanspirit8932 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The battery in the electric starter is not strong enough to turn the prop over. He needs to increase the size of the battery or recharge it fully.
    Should never ever ever, stand in front of a spinning propeller, if it's backfires it will fly off and cut you to pieces or kill you. That is number one safety rule. They should know better . Too many things wrong in this clip, why is he flying around with his landing gear down, when they are retractable? Also after his engine quit, he's turning a slowing down and he stalled, that means no air flowing over the bottom of the wing to hold it up in the air that's a comma major mistake many Pilots do and crash just as he did. Then in the beginning 3 minutes just to start the engine? I commented about weak battery I'm not sure what's going on. Anyway my opinion way too many mistakes made in this clip. Maybe he was just not experienced enough to fly a plane like that I don't know?
