    This was fantastic. I had a spiritual shift in my 40's, so I've been researching and exploring different beliefs and practices. This conversation really gave me the inspiration to focus on not just my experiences, but also my roots and the beliefs and practices of my ancestors.

    • @ricklarchmont
      @ricklarchmont ปีที่แล้ว

      Believing on any other than Christ is the path to hell - Jesus said "There is no other name given (other than His name) by which men can be saved."

    • @ricklarchmont
      @ricklarchmont ปีที่แล้ว

      Giving your life to Christ and repenting of your sins is the only way to be saved - all other beliefs will lead your soul to eternal hell.
      Also, death is an enemy and is going to be cast into the lake of fire.
      1 Corinthians 15;26
      Revelations 20;14

    I really want to say thank you for this video. Whenever people see me, they see a Mexican. But I feel very detached from that label-I don’t know Spanish, I can’t really speak to my grandparents, I have no family in Mexico anymore, the Catholic/ Christian faith runs on both sides of my family. I feel very detached from my indigenous roots. It felt like I didn’t know where to start when doing spiritual work and trying to start honoring my ancestors. But this video definitely gave me some tips to know where to start and comfort in Mexican folk magic as that was something I feared about as well. Definitely following Francisco for more information about Mexican folk Magic..💜

    Most spirits, deities, and such that are labeled as "satanic" have been labeled as such by Christianity (umbrella term).

    • @jayzzz1435
      @jayzzz1435 ปีที่แล้ว

      So you don't think witchcraft is satanic? Amares, curses, etc. Is all of that good? Because it seems like people use these spirits/deities for that.

    • @MsNikkieMichelle
      @MsNikkieMichelle ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a pretty shallow statement. To call witchcraft (which is extremely vague) “satanic” is as ignorant as calling every catholic a holy, God loving devout who never would think of committing venial and mortal sins and who doesn’t just go to church on Easter and Christmas.
      Did you know a great deal of serial murderers were practicing Christians/Catholics, Mormons, etc? Anything and/or anyone can go down certain paths in life and to make extremely blankets comments full of uneducated bias/stigmas is pretty ignorant.

    • @MsNikkieMichelle
      @MsNikkieMichelle ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Also, to call witchcraft in its entirety satanic is like calling religion in it’s entirety heavenly, virtuous, righteous and every practicing Christian/Catholic/etc. wouldn’t think of sinning and who go to church more than just a few times a year on holidays.
      Not every witch is satanic. Not every priest is holy.

    • @ricklarchmont
      @ricklarchmont ปีที่แล้ว

      All humans are evil and sinful - that is why Jesus Christ came to earth as a man to die for our sins, He was the sinless sacrifice for the sinful - and He was raised again to all power.
      But yes, all of witchcraft is evil, simply because God has said no it and all forms of divination.

    Love this. So, so much. There are far too many unfortunate misconceptions and lack of knowledge about deities/goddesses like Kali, Lilith, Santa Muerte and fallen angels and it’s so so disheartening.
    I’m glad to see the veil lifting off of people’s eyes and that there’s a lot of very unfair stigma and ignorance surrounding what is unknown, in this case, our beautiful Santa Muerte.

      Death was never intended by the Lord God to be a part of human life - death is God's punishment for human sinfulness; death is an enemy and will be cast into the lake of fire by God ( 2nd Corinthians 15;26 and Revelations 20;14).

Sorry that you are blinded by fear.

As a Conjurer myself, I have been experiencing Santa Muerte in dreams and visions, as if she has been calling me. TBH, I haven't responded to her because of my predominant European ancestry. I have such a strong passion for Mexican culture and that part of my ancestry. I don't express it publicly because tbh I look white, and I don't won't people think I'm trying to rob their culture, despite the fact that my great great Grandmother was Mexican. As an Aussie I had to chuckle when you both agreed that in Australia everything is out to get you. It’s really not that bad. When you connect with nature, there’s nothing to be afraid of.
    A brown snake (which is dangerous, for instance) will give you are warning before it strikes. If you’re in tune, you will step away and get out of its way, and sometimes it will get out of your way. When you telepathically communicate, you will negotiate and sort it out amongst yourself.

    This video is super helpful! I'm a hispanic practitioner and I have been trying to find what is "appropriate" for me, since we are a mixture of so many different cultures and waves of brujeria and what not. It can get a bit confusing sometimes, though I know it should also be intuitive. Could you make more videos about this? Balance between what is culturally appropriate and also what your intuition tells you to follow... I am so curious.

    Fascinating video! Really well done. Years ago when I was younger and stupid(er) I was in a pretty rough line of work and found myself in Mexico. Was given a Santa Meurte icon which gave me a lot of comfort when there. A lot of adventures later, am back home in Ireland and still, she brings me comfort and gives me a connection from there to here still. Once again, excellent vid. Hope your all well 👍

    great video collaboration! for the longest time, i've always known i was Chumash but never knew that our tribe originated from mexico. that was cool to learn ✨ i don't look like your typical american indian - or even mexican , so when people ask what my ethnicity is i usually hesitate to answer because i've gotten some really nasty looks in the past. i've even seen hospitals change my information on paperwork that i've filled out just because of the way i look 🤷‍♀️

    I guess a lot of us should thank the Abrahamic religions for being so judgmental, hypocritical, filled with fear and guilt to turn us away from them. To open our hearts and soul to a more beautiful empowering spirituality. So we can continue to expand our consciousness and know there are no limits to it. Love.

    I started working with her in devotion about a year ago (though it felt like going home) and I love her so much. I haven't asked her for much, aside from weeding out everything that was unnecessary, so for now we just kinda talk, I love asking her how she is and feeling her burden. It helps me connect with her and offer space, and it gives such great perspective when we're done talking. I always either laugh, feel a kind motherly chastising, or I cry... Sometimes all three 🥲 I think she's very humorous and honest. I feel like the best version of myself when I commune with her, because of her force in the world and how she's such an equalizer, she feels so safe to me. I can't even go in to all the ways she's changed my life for the best. I'm tearing up lol ✨🤍✨

    As a devotee of Kali Devi for several years, La Santa Muerte has recently started trying to communicate with me. I was nervous about how to reconcile my Tantric initiations and practices with La Santa Muerte. Both need their own altar I understand that. However the more I learn the fear and the apparent conflicts reconcile. Why should I fear upsetting Mother, I am respectful of her boundaries and each culture she works through as I strive to be authentic and honour the lineages that pass down the wisdom. I was worried I would have to stop my mantra sadhana to work with her. Now I honestly think she is saying no don't do that it was Mother Kali who introduced me to La Santa Muerte. La Santa Muerte respects those who honour their commitments and keep their promises. She would never ask me to break a promise made to Devi in order to work with her. In fact Madrina would see such an act as untrustworthy akin to not keeping a promise to her. What I feel she is saying is thst it is important to keep each practice in its own time and own space and work for different purposes. This way there is clarity as to which aspect is guiding me and which aspect is answering me. To blend them completely would create confusion at this point. Hence why she wants to be honored separately. Not so much that she is literally jealous but more that she gets frustrated when she is speaking and you are not paying fully attention to her so unsure if it is her teaching you or someone else. As a tantrika I believe ultimately everything is one but becomes many for unique expression and in the unique aspects of different currents there she specific lessons we can learn. Just as one tree may indeed be part of the forest as a whole but studying that specific tree can teach us particular lines of knowledge that we would miss looking at the forest as a whole. That being said each aspect will also lead us to understand the connections between things and help us to see everything as one also.
