The pivot from "oh, this book doesn't have spells" to "success candle spell from scratch it is!" was a chaotic stroke of genius, honestly, and shows how to spontaneously create a spell using known correspondences and materia you already have! 💅🏼✨
Spell casting is no different from cooking. I never follow a recipe to the T. I read it, understand it, then make it my own. Spells *are* recipes, in fact, and the best results come when you “cook” with intuition ✨🥰✨.
@@LadyHarlowe Yep, hence the "craft" in witchcraft/ Wish people would realize they dont have to copy other people's spells in order for them to work and that they work best when done by intuition. Crafting a spell is similar to a painting or making art or cooking like you said!
I love seeing the realness of getting your sh*t together 🤣 When I started practicing, I thought spellwork had to look a certain way, glamorous, woowoo, grand, regal, instagram-ish, etc. When I (finally) let go of those expectations, my practice felt solid. If this video is a peek into what the rest of this series holds, this spell is already working! Can't wait!
So the book isn't a list of spells someone else wrote to have you follow along and just repeat their work but explained WHY and HOW of candle magic? Sounds like a great book. ps love the opening for the book series especially as we're heading into october.
@@TheWitchOfWonderlust I'd love to see a review from you for that book! I want to get more into candle magick and you seemed to be impressed by this book instantly, even though you hadn't read it yet. So I think I'll put it on my books-to-buy-list! 🕯️🙌✨
This series is so validating. Seeing someone else who adapts the spell to work for them and the material they have on hand makes me feel better about my own practice.
But why do you need validation? Magic started somewhere, so it literally started off as someone doing their own thing. There are billions of people on this planet. It's basically impossible for anyone to be the only one who does something. Do what works for you. You don't need validation to know what feels right.
I know the spell worked before even watching you do it! This is going to be an amazing series! It makes it so enjoyable to watch. It feels like we’re doing it with you right into the nitty-gritty and that’s what everyone wants! A lot of other, witch❤️TH-camrs will only explain what they did, and a shot of the finished spell. What you’re doing is amazing! Keep it up! I can’t get enough of these!
I cannot get over how incredible that intro is! I'd go as far as to say it's the best intro I've ever seen on TH-cam and probably any tv show too! Also the series is extremely helpful for spell inspiration!
Finally, a video that puts a spell together the way I do-with odds and ends I’ve already got, those spur of the moment “you know what? I’m adding these”, and just the whole creative vibe of this video, this series. I finally feel seen, Olivia. Thank you. ✨
this is the first time i’ve ever watched someone cast a spell. despite not actually hearing u talk to the ingredients and stuff, i think watching how u do it has really helped me figure out how intention works. thank u for this!!
candle magic is my favorite way to cast spells. I love seeing how you set your spell up and the steps you took to manifest your success intentions. It must be working since you posted this video a few weeks ago and I just found it!
The Author Madame Pamita also has her own TH-cam channel. Her videos are really interesting. She breaks the spells down and help you understand the how and why of doing the spells. I have this book and I love it. It lets me create different spells and to create new ideas I have never thought about before.
As I am growing and am healing personally, I am finding a new appreciation for your energy and your work! And here I thought I couldn't admire your more! Thank you for teaching and inviting us to learn and experiment alongside you 🙏❤ I'm also LOVING the two-screen edit where we see your face as you speak and your hands as you work.
Cool series. I've been watching your videos for a few years now. I've sort of been comparing your work, to the traditional Navajo practices that I grew up with. And there seem to be a lot similarities between Native American practices and witchcraft. My mom's cousin is a medicine man, and I've seen him do a lot of ceremonies for people. He uses a lot of the same stuff like crystals, herbs, water, he doesn't use candles but there is a fire involved. He does work with deities, well traditionally their referred to as holy people. I'm actually considering becoming a medicine man. So I've been watching videos about witchcraft, and going over what I've learned about navajo traditional practices, and seeing how the two compare. Your channel has been real helpful and informative. Thank you.
I love that you showed the "craft" in witchcraft by using your intuition and knowledge and correspondences in the book to craft your own spell. People don't need to copy everything from others to have effective spell work and witchcraft is similar to art in the sense that you are the one crafting the magick and it works better with your own personal touch!
Loving this Spellwork Series. I'm all about learning and knowledge. The Intro to this series is EVERYTHING 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I know I say this all the time...but you are so talented on so many levels. Your creativity just keeps getting better and better in everything you do. 🙌🙌🙌
Love the series so far! I think a lot of beginner witches feel the need to HAVE this or GOTTA do that. I know I felt that way when I first started which made it hard to start spellwork. Seeing your process is not only validating but great for inspiration too! Now I'm wanting to work with oils more.. haha Thanks for letting us take a peek at your practice! Can't wait for more videos!
I just want to go and dramatically sweep everything off my messy desk and make room for a working now. It's blustery outside. Perfect weather for getting up to spell work indoors.
All the things you said about a yellow candle I totally agree because yellow is the color that represents the element of air, which is my birth element! This video has my attention!
I’ve been subscribed for a long time but have only watched a handful of videos but for reason just felt like I should click on this one. Absolutely loved it and will continue watching this series ! Seems like the spell worked ✨

I just happened to find a platter like yours in a free box last night when I didn't have one before and I'm starting a new job today! Going to do this spell before I begin my shift, thank you so much!!!
Love this spell! I'm currently updating the candle section of my BOS, and this one's definitely going in. I haven't worked much with yellow or solar energies, or even with Road Opening and success spells. I work mostly with lunar and nocturnal energies, so this spell was a pleasure to see. The platter with the sun-type design tying it all together was a stroke of genius.
I love this series, thank you. I always worry if im interpreting the spell correctly and getting to see a visual of someone else doing similar spellwork reassures me that im on the right track. I appreciate your thorough explanations. I hope this series will be very successful for you 💕
I love how theatrical you are Olivia! That intro is everything! Babe, you were born to do this ❤ and you have made such a huge impact in my life. I appreciate you, beautiful 🎉🌈🙏
That is surprising I always cleanse my candles before I use them and then I will tell the candle what it is to do in my spell then I will add oils herbs symbols you have to cleanse your candle to get rid of unwanted energy I'm very surprised at this I love your videos by the way thank you

Awesome series Olivia! Spell is already working! I love how you adapt spell recipes to what you have on hand and add or subtract ingredients for your spell purposes! This is a great lesson that the spell recipes in general are a guide and you can adapt ingredients for what you have on hand the same way for cooking recipes. You do not have to freak out just because you do not have a certain ingredient if a spell recipe lists it! By the way, I am drinking orange spice black tea! What a coincidence!

Wow, thank you for this video! I've only decided last week to follow that magical side of me after years of not allowing myself to do so. How long does one let the candle burn? Would you let it burn down completely on the first go? hi !
what i personally would do is light it for a little bit every day until it burns down or my manifestation is reached -- specifically, if i made this spell for this exact intention, I would let it burn while I am recording my video for my series. i personally like to snuff out my spell candles, but you can blow it out if you feel best. if you want to leave it to burn all the way down, you totally can, but generally a spell with a huge candle like this would take a LONG time to burn down. after you craft this spell, you don't have to sit there and constantly focus your energy and intention -- unless you want to, of course, but it's okay to do something else while it is burning. nice to let the energies seep into the surrounding area :D
as for disposing, put all biodegradable ingredients back outside (like the acorn, star anise, etc) and anything that isnt biodegradable, such as the candle wax or the salt, i would throw it out normally, thats what i do :) or i just throw it into a bowl i have specifically for my non-degradable spell remains lol
ik this question was not directed at me but i felt like i needed to answer
