Did you see former pres. Clinton watching in awe as the young woman sing the special solo part. I have to say I was also in awe to hear and watch er sing. this special arrangement of Battle hymn of the Republic. I've never heard an arrangement such as this one. Glory hallelujah! Praise God for the gift of song. Amen

I'm a Mormon, but I consider The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir to be one of the best in the world. Many people say, I'm not Mormon, but I like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Know that we also admire the other Choirs. They make a great contribution to sacred art.

Mr. Schumer introduced the choir because he was instrumental in having them sing at the Inauguration. For years he has attended the Easter Service at Brooklyn Tabernacle. He is a huge fan of the choir and he loves the church. Mr. Schumer was raised in Brooklyn and he attended Madison High School. He was not being a slime, he was being a supporter of the city and borough that he loves. Thank God that He used Mr. Schumer to give the church this platform to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. To you it was a beautiful performance, to the church it was a way to share the gospel. His truth is marching on.

Just come to Brooklyn at 180 Smith St.! To see full choir must come to 9 am or 12 pm service. Make sure to get there at least lore get decent seat.least a half hour before to get decent seat. Check website also brooklyntabernacle . org.
I have been a member over 30 years and love the church, congregation and our pastor, James Cymbala and his wife Carol, the choir director..

No disrespect to any other artists who performed at the inauguration....but, in my opinion, this was by far the musical highlight of the entire event. Yet, the mainstream media is focused on mishaps and lip synching done by others. BT should be booked up to the 22nd century right now. They're performance is so underrated.

Don't know if you are Christian or not. If so, have one question for you. By chance if racists somehow do get to heaven, do you think God is a racist also? Do you think he discriminates? @NotSoGoldenAfterAll. Not everything is about being petite and perfect and exactly how you view choral representation... OBVIOUSLY with this performance, it moved me and millions of other people. But what your concern is how they sound and how the music sounds. This performance is deeper than that. Try listening to the lyrics sometimes... all this extra bullshit people are saying makes me and plenty others sick. Please take your rudeness elsewhere.
Anyone with any choral training or an ear for choral music would deem this arrangement complete garbage. These arrangements are made for Disneyland-like jr. high show choirs, cheesy in their arranging and just juvenile sounding. The inauguration is supposed to be a classy affair and the choir basically wore overalls to a tux dinner. Shame on the person that OK'd this train wreck of a song. Bring back real classical like Yo Yo Ma. If you want to do classical do it right or not at all. gross.
I will watch this on January 20th 2021, for the inauguration of Joseph Robinette Biden, 46th president of the United States

too bad this is out of sync. Can anything be done to fix it? Great moment on TV and deserves to be correctly recorded. The Choir was excellent, and their performance amazing -- hope this can be fixed.

I found it to be a bold and beautiful arrangement of a classic that has been done a few million times. The creativity while holding on to base score made for an incredible experience for both the choir and the listener.

Funny I said the exact same thing as well! The media really made it seem like BTC never even ministered that day and this was the best part indeed! It just goes to show why things are the way they are... based on what most took from this whole event and missed the greatest parts of it, such as this!
