It's worth listening to this type of lecture two or three times because there is so much content.

there is a word contained within the first biblical sentence, a small three letter definite article, that if changed into the indefinite doesn't alter the bible's theme but liberates its premise. 'In a (instead of in the) beginning god created the heavens and the earth' yet what's done is sadly interred within the untouchable halls of the inaccessible past and the beginning framed in Genesis is not a beginning but rather the start of an end. Excellent lecture

This man has an original mind. That can be hard to find in the domain that he is expounding on . I found this talk to be brilliant. He sees things from angles that most of us miss.

The video descriptions either state the year it was given, or link to a website for the conference at which it took place. This was 1997 - see iishj.org/colloquium/colloquium-1997/

Actually, Yhwh DOES have a biography. He was one of the sons of El. (See Deut. 32:8-9, Dead Sea Scrolls). And when he grew up, he married his mother Asherah. (Archaeology tells us this.) The Jews may not have been as prolific as the Greeks, but they certainly had their juicy stories.

The people of israel owe the world alot. In knowledge , religion, civilisations, science etc..the world should give great credit for them.

There's no such thing as THE poetical truth of either Hamlet or Genesis. There are only interpretations of the play and interpretations of the myth.
