I love the fragrance of the lemon cypress tree. My local nursery sells these especially near Christmas. I've tried to grow these over the years and managed to keep one alive for two years before it died. They do well outside in the warm summer, but indoors over winter is when it's easy to kill these plants. I think indoors over winter they like higher humidity and be in a cooler room with bright light. That's kind of hard for me to do in my house. They are not too expensive so I might try another one this year.
Beautiful little tree, good sir!
Hope your new method gets her going strong and vigorous
Thanks!

Definitely give it a try again! I think also for me it was the not-that-great conditions during winter that had my previous tree struggling.
Can you share more details about you inorganic soil?
It's a pre-made mixture of volcanic rock of different density, pumice and some already mixed in fertilizer.
They need to be outside
