I love seeing my favorite content creators visit Taiwan. I used to visit every year as a child since my parents are from there & I still have a lot of family who live in Taiwan. Definitely miss all the yummy & cheap food Taiwan has to offer!
Exactly' People who are considerate, accommodating, and peacemaking need to travel alone so they can just do what they want. This was a very calming video ❤
I was so happy that you visited Taiwan☺️I just started watching your video recently, and the first video was talking about adopting dogs 🐶When you came to Taiwan, 浪浪別哭 first comes to mind. I am so glad you are enjoying here ❤❤❤from Taiwan
Hi Weylie, I’ve been watching you since your tampon days and I know you want the aesthetics for the font size you put in your videos, but miss gworl lol, we is blind now 😂 if you can please make them just a little bit bigger for us blind girly I would love that. Sometimes I watch your videos when i’m doing the dishes and when I’m eating and I cannot see a thing lol.
I went to Taiwan last month and it was my first time to travel S-O-L-O!! From Airport to my Hostel to roaming around... for 3days! I can say, Taiwan is a SAFE PLACE to travel solo. Like once in your life you want to do something different or wanted to travel solo, TAIWAN is one of the best place to go! :D 5/5 will deffff recommend.
Thank you for coming to Taiwan!! Can't wait for your visit back to Taiwan with your friends to see the Taipei 101 shopping mall!! Starlux is a Taiwanese airline and I think it's only 2 years old. They usually have cooperation with cartoons such as Snoopy and Spiderman. Ps. In my opinion they have one of best asain airplane food. 😊
Sooooooooo excited to seeing your Taiwan vlogs 🥺🥺 Hope someday we Taiwanese viewers can bump into you on street in Taipei!! Glad you had a great stay here and yes Starlux airlines is a great airlines, which is one of my go-to for Asia travel now.
Wow. This video was making me just a little "temporary home sick" for Taiwan (my employer sent me to work there for 3 months) and THEN you stopped at Q-Square, which is in the same building that my apartment was in and I got REALLY melancholy. If you go back and haven't visited it, do check out the Taipei City Mall, it is connected underground to the Taipei Central bus station and Q-Square mall and is a whole bunch of small shops that are built underneath ~ .9 Km of Shimen (Civic) BLVD. it was by far the best mall there IMO as all the shops are tiny with people who negotiate prices and the goods range from clothing and accessories, to religious goods (with lots of rock and crystal shops) to anime figurines and related (video game shops, arcades, etc) and finally a food court with a huge diversity of offerings including a Maid/Butler cafe! Thak you for making this vid, it made me happy and sad at the same time :)
Oh, and Lungshan temple is a MUST, there has to be nearly a 1000 dragons on the temple including two large copper pillars with dragons in high relief forged into them and it is a multi-deity shrine with many of the Chinese folk deities represented as well as Guan Yin, who the main shrine is dedicated to.
Oh wow, what a surprise to stumble across Langlang Don’t Cry rescue! I also follow them as I do you and glad you had a chance to go and show us the cafe. Btw, Langlang means strays in mandarin if anyone is wondering 😊
I love solo traveling! You get to be on your schedule like you mentioned! The down part is you’re limited to trying food especially if they’re big portion. 😅
It’s ok, Weylie, I got lost on the bus so many times in China too. I just tell myself it’s another opportunity to explore my new area 😂 Hats off to you for pulling through and making it to your destination 👍🏽
omg guuurrl you were in Taiwan 🥹💗 as a taiwanese born and raised here, and also a longtime viewer of your channel (it’s been 10 years!), i‘m more than excited to see you enjoying your time here. the dog cafe 浪浪別哭 also has branches in Taichung and Tainan (southern part of taiwan). these two cities also got numerous attractions to visit and local street food to dig in! highly recommended for your next trip here in taiwan 🫶🏼
Raohe was my favorite night market in Taiwan! I had soft takoyaki there and it was the best takoyaki I've ever had. Glad to see you had fun in Taiwan! :)
Hi Weylie! Really loving your little solo travel videos lately. Makes me miss going oversees so much. I also wanted to know if you’re still using your DJI camera as well since you were testing it out in the past.
Since you were in the Fujin St neighborhood, would like to recommend an unique shop there. Shop name is "Words Studio" (on the 2nd floor of an apartment), it has the most extensive collection of greeting cards in Taiwan with tonnes of antique stationary. Do give it a go if you are in town next.
I am from Taipei and I am here right now! There is also an awesome Tsutaya bookstore at MRT Nangang Station. You don't have to go outside, you just follow the signs underground :)
Hi Weylie, welcome to Taiwan! This is my first time watching your vlog, and I love it! Next time you come to Taipei, you should visit the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park (SCCP). I think you'll enjoy shopping there 😊
Love this vlog so comforting and I had the same experience the last time we went to Taiwan we rode a bus thinking it was the right pick up point so we end up going to Keelung instead of going straight to Jiufen it was so stressful but it was fun hehe
If you really enjoyed the chicken rice in Taiwan, then I highly recommend that the chicken rice in Chayi, that is probably the most famous and delicious chicken rice in Taiwan.
I'm back!! Watching weilys vlogs Been a fan of watching your videos since u started TH-cam many years ago at that time I was just 12 years old now I'm 25 years old!! I'm a loyal viewer.. I hope u see my comment one day and say hello 👋 😊

Hi there I watched your advice regarding you brow micro blading experience I wish I see your video before I did mine , but now it happens to me just like you went through, I have a quick question how did you do to bring back to original brow? Thanks! Kay
may I ask what card/method of payment do you use in going around Taipei? Do they have like an 'all-in-one' card/method of payment they use? I'm building my itinerary around your videos, lol.
When I first arrived in Taiwan, I exchanged about $100 USD in cash. I used that for street food, local eats, fill up my EasyCard for transportation. When shopping in malls, most major credit card companies are accepted! I used my amex mostly!
I started the trip with a carry-on and carry-on duffle bag. Towards the end of my trip, I had an extra carry-on with stuff to bring home. I checked in one of the carry-ons since only 2 pieces of small luggage are allowed on the flight!
chibimaruko chan! I don't think traveling in Taiwan as an English speaker would be too difficult. Most public transportation has English and I recommend using google translate when in doubt! People in Taiwan are friendly and willing to help as long as you're respectful!
Taiwan is suitable for solo trips, because it’s save and comforting❤ Girls can even go out at night
Taiwan has been ranked as the 3rd-safest country in the world by Numbeo's 2023 Crime Index.
