hey weylie, the restaurant at 18:05 is called Chori Sanggyeong (쵸리상경), 18-8 Seoulsup 4(sa)-gil, Seongsu-dong 1(il)-ga, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, South Korea! just in case you or any viewers wanted to know ^~^ thanks for the vlog!
@@ed6858 I tried to list as many places as I could, I believe that was the only place I couldn't remember. It was my friend's friend who brought us to the restaurant. Since we're acquaintances, I don't have his contact info. I think it would be a bit much to bother his friend for that. I made my best effort to list everything and is it really necessary to say what you did?
@@weylie_hoang People are seriously so entitled and demanding on the internet. You're not a travel channel, you weren't obligated to vlog any of this at all! Thanks for all the effort you put into your content.
@@ed6858 actually, this video has been very informational. and because of the beauty of the internet, someone has also been able provide the information that's missing. i believe for many of us that aren't a TH-camr/influencer, we hold jobs and have turned up to work not having all the answers, that itself is the beauty of working in teams, with people from different backgrounds and perspectives. with that, we are able to learn from each other, filling up the gaps that may appear. there is no need to be demanding, unreasonable and mean, Weylie has done a fantastic job of making this video informational, aesthetically pleasing and entertaining. if you're stuck in a job that doesn't allow you to do that thus making you a bitter person then that's too bad, don't take it out on someone that's been nothing but positive and lovely. and if you don't like her or the content shared, feel free to watch something else instead of leaving negativity. there's already enough of that in the world. all the best!
thats so interesting that you would like to one day move there. have any of your korean-american friends had similar sentiments ? the concept of intergenerational repatriation back to outside of "western" countries is an interesting , recent phenomenon happening
I've always wanted to move out of the country! I've lived in California my whole life and I think it would be awesome to experience living somewhere else to experience a new culture. There's so much out there in the world, and if given the opportunity I think it would only benefit someone to learn something new.
The name of the rice restaurant is Chyori Sanggyeong and it's located in Seongsu the nearest subway are either the Seoul Forest station exit 5 or Ttukseom station exit 8. They're open daily from 11am-10pm but be aware there's breaktime in between from 3pm-5pm, last order for lunch time in 2.30pm.
Just discovered your channel because of the words Seoul & Busan in your video. I saw you a couple times in Jenn’s videos but I discovered such a bright, shiny and cheerful yet gentle personality in you, it’s so uplifting to watch your videos 🥰 Keep being you ♥️
This brought back so many memories for me. I loved the cafe culture in Korea as well as how serene it felt being there. You would love living there if you're able to!
Followed for years and years... never thought I'd see you in my neighborhood, Saha-gu! Watching the city I've called home for years through your eyes was so fun. Next time you're at the Lotte Department store, stop in OPS (the bakery behind you as you ate bibimbap) for the most amazing baked goods. Also, the beach in Busan with the bridge is Gwangalli Beach - Haeundae is on the other side of the bridge. Thanks for the video!
Weylie! I am really happy to see you had a good time in Korea:) Your video is always calm and peaceful. The background music in your video is so warm, as well. I am in to your video these days! I am glad that you were having nice meals and good desserts in our country! Thank you for taking a lot of good pictures and videos of Korea:) Have a good one! I can't wait your next video
What a BEAUTIFUL blog Weylie! Your videos always bring me peace and happiness. It was fun to watch with my boyfriend all cozied up on the couch, Korea seriously looks amazing and I can’t wait for us to visit. It was also very nice seeing you guys so happy and it authentically looked like you had the best of times. :)
I was watching this and I said to my husband "hey we should visit Seoul! Seems like a great place to travel to!" and actually I'm Korean and I live in Seoul 🤣 Your video made me appreciate and change my persepective on my mundane everyday life...if you know what I mean!
Just wanted to stop by and say i LOVED your Korea vlogs! I was lucky enough to have been stationed in Korea when I was in the army and I kick myself in the head ALL THE TIME for not having explored this amazing country more! (I was young and dumb) Seeing your vlogs brings back so much nostalgia of my time there. I can almost smell the air as I am watching you walk through the different areas throughout your Vlog. I’m so glad you went and enjoyed it so much! I also wanted to say, that if you really want to live in Korea one day you should totally DO IT! I just recently made the move to Puerto Rico with my little family after living in New Jersey for most of my life (minus my time in the service) It was scary and a lot of work, but i am so proud of us for taking the leap and so excited for this journey ahead. You only live once! So i encourage you to go for it❤ i have been watching your vids since forever! And love how you have grown and evolved. Much love
Aww thanks for sharing this with me! That's amazing you stepped out of your comfort zone to try something new. Sounds amazing and I hope to do that one day too!
You got so lucky to have so many good air days during your trip. Seoul is gorgeous with fresh, clean air. Something simple as crossing the Han river on a bus is magical on good days. I screenshot some of the places you've visited because I need some more places to check out. Been living in Korea for close to a decade. Super fun in my 20s. But now that I have kids, I also enjoy how Korea has so many fun places for families and kids, too.
I saw on your Instagram how much work and patience you put into this. I really enjoyed watching this vlog on this cozy Sunday, so thank you! I'll make sure to come back to these videos one day when I will plan a trip to South Korea :)
I was in Seoul 3 weeks ago visiting my daughter who's studying abroad. Watching this video and seeing the places you visited brought back so much memories. I thoroughly enjoyed your beautifully documented trip!
I'm glad you guys are enjoying Korea!! I love how you film and portray Busan in such a beautiful way. Also just wanted to let you know that the first beach you show, the one with the bridge is called Gwanganli beach. Haeundae beach does not have a bridge view - it's just open water with no bridge. Can't wait for your next vlog!! :)
I totally agree with what you said about drinking coffee in Korea! When i’m in Korea I can drink coffee all day and sleep soundly at night but here in CA I limit my coffee intake lol. Thanks for sharing your trip with us! Glad you like Korea so much! ❤
Ahhh I love your Korea vlogs. Even rewatched the old ones :) I love how you guys seem careful to not make these like the wahlie vlogs. I liked those so much but I know y’all also wanna do your own things
Wow makes me wish I was there but the vlog is a happy reminder to save and go! Hehe. Thanks for sharing what you packed. Perhaps a reel or video of your Korea outfits would be super nice. Each combination looked really chic and stylish.
I really enjoy these travel vlogs, such a treat! Also, always have to have a meal while watching your videos because you guys make me hungry with all the food, every time lol

Wow, what a trip. That makes me want to go to Korea, just for the food. Couldn't believe all the Cafe's and then Churros and Ice Cream, in Korea? Ice Cream I understand, but Churros. They seem to embrace other cultures there. Those Mungbean pancakes looked good. The Namsan Arae coffee roaster looked interesting. i wonder where they get their coffee beans from. Loved that cat there as I have 6 cats of my own. Loved the scenes from the Tower in Seoul. Teddy's Oven had my mouthwatering with the desserts, but I love coffee , so any Cafe will get me. I love the Hotpot meals. We have a place near me and I have waned to have the Hotpot, but just haven't. I had something where you cook meats on a grill at your table and was nice, but never did a hotpot. Then you had the Pineapple fried Rice and Soft shell crab curry and I melted into the monitor I watching the video on. that food looked so fresh and good. The place you got the Matcha Green Tea is a Pour Over. It's good when you make coffee that way. You pour Hot water over coffee grounds in a filter, just like what you had. Sorry if you already knew that already. I got the impression on the video that you didn't know what that was. That Starfield library was amazing looking. Those books all the way up. The food you ate after you got the headache was good for that as you had like a soup with the tofu , vegetables and broth. Looked good even if I don't eat Tofu. That restaurant where Wah got a sampling of Kimbap, not sure how you spell it, but looked good. Maybe some get tired of seeing a lot of shopping and restaurants, but not me. I like seeing this stuff as if I would ever go to a place I would be thinking where do I want to eat, to experience the food of where I am visiting and also like shopping in a place I have never been. I also like Sightseeing . Overall a great video. So glad you shared this. Really made my night.

Loved watching your time in Korea, Weylie! Always love your videos! & style! I miss Korea! I lived there the last 2 years teaching English and literally just moved a month ago to California. It's been quite the adjustment, but your vlog gave me a little escape. Really makes me wonder if I ever see myself living in Korea in the future again... but one step at a time... we'll try to make it through and enjoy my first time living in the West coast of America 🥺🙏🏼 PS. Y'all need to try the naked gimbap at Gwanjang Market! It's called JAPCHAE KIMBAP 잡채김밥 and it's super popular and affordable!! Soooo good.
So glad y’all enjoyed South Korea!! I haven’t been since I was a year old, but my husband and I do plan to visit! Also I LOVE your sweater, it’s super cute. Where did you get it??
Thank you for this vlog! I just came back from Busan and Seoul and I miss it so much! Really enjoyed watching this vlog! Also... did you guys stayed at the Arban hotel as well? I recognize the roll up curtains of the bathroom xD. Did you noticed there was also 2 levels of "karaoke" in that hotel?
Thanks for making us walk and see through your eyes, so interesting and relaxing. I wish I could go there too one day, food looks delicious… I am like drooling as a dog 😅
FYI, Its actually Gwanali beach not Haeundae in Busan session😊 I dm you if you wanted any recommendations from this local Busan girl. Always love your vlogs and good to know you enjoyed the time in Korea ❤
omgg!!!! i didnt get to watch your seoul vlog and only got to see the jeju one before going on my trip and omg we stayed in the same myeongdong area!! i recognized that 7/11 @ 11:05 LOL
Hi Weylie! I really love your aesthetic! I was wondering what are your thoughts on your new luggage and carry on Away bag? Would you recommend it? pros or cons? Thank you so much for the vlog, South Korea is on my list of places I would like to visit this year :)

Im OBSESSED with the bag and scarf! Glad you had a great trip and safe travels back.

The food looks incredible!! I can only imagine how fresh and flavorful it is compared to the US and Korean food here is pretty good!

Love your Korea vloggg!! soo cute and aesthetic. Enjoy your holiday xxx

Loved watching your time in Korea, Weylie! Always love your videos! & style! I miss Korea! I lived there the last 2 years teaching English and literally just moved a month ago to California. It's been quite the adjustment, but your vlog gave me a little escape. Really makes me wonder if I ever see myself living in Korea in the future again... but one step at a time... we'll try to make it through and enjoy my first time living in the West coast of America 🥺🙏🏼
PS. Y'all need to try the naked gimbap at Gwanjang Market! It's called JAPCHAE KIMBAP 잡채김밥 and it's super popular and affordable!! Soooo good.
Thank you for your vlog! It was so peaceful and lovely 😊
