For me it’s gacha games slowly being more grindy the more you play them so I’m deleting most games and only playing ZZZ
It's always hilarious to see all this "drama" just kinda fade away, and blow over. The Genshin boycott in particular felt ridiculous from the start, and now we can all see it for the joke it was.
All I'm saying is to play the games you want, but don't try to force your ideas or agendas on video games, which are supposed to be an escape from reality, not representative of it.
The issue with the Boycott is similar to the one around 4.3 with the "Lack of Rewards" but let's not pretend what it represents isn't important
It not like Genshin is pulling what most Japanese Media do and taking superficial aspects of a culture. The fact that people put more emphasis on gambling tokens then the appropriation is an issue
It's only an Agenda when it not a company shoving Grindfest Endgame or Creating a Game that forces people to gamble on characters.
Those are fine despite effecting people and feeding off addicts but when Genshin takes a everything from a culture except its people then it's bad and is an agenda

With every new release of big gacha games, comes a new wave of "content creators", aka people that aren't suited for the job that hope to get blessed by the algorithm by just reacting to official media released/news and creating guides that more or less are all the same thing, maybe they all use the same source, or maybe it's not that deep that the signature weapon is BiS and the elemental equipment related to the character is unexpectedly the BiS (with rare exceptions).
But, you can't blame it all on the content creators, because the game themselves aren't really the best to create content on, with limitations on resources and things to do to keep players retention, there's only so much "content" that someone can pump out with what he has been given.
Genshin has been an exception, helped by covid on release, where both content creators and viewers found an oasis, but the content on release was pretty much the same we see today for other games, it just wasn't stale back then. The content evolved to what we see today because the game kept flourishing and eventually content creators and viewers both broke through the resource scarcity wall after years and can try meme stuff to bring as content pretty much freely without having to worry about nuclear dads

Some cc name their video : how wuwa is dying, is it going to die. I mean just reading this I get frustated. Nothing wrong to analyse from an economic standpoint but this is .....
Also have to consider that Genshin's playerbase is huge (look it up, I can't post links). However inaccurate the data is, since the stat sites are independent, their ratios are likely to be close to accurate and Genshin is more than twice the size of HSR, ZZZ, and WuWa combined.
Just something to consider how that affects content viewership. Not to mention how much more appealing the game is to younger audiences, who also typically have a lot more time, etc. I'm always blown away by how huge the "For Kids" content on TH-cam is. As well as content surrounding Roblox, Minecraft, and Fortnite who also have very large younger audiences. Not taking anything away from the content or the game, just definitely something to consider if just looking at numbers.
I agree that its more popular. But also it does have more content for casuals than other people so there is more reasons to search the term genshin. Ofc kids will like it but that can apply to the others to a lesser extent

The reason I don’t watch these type of people, besides Doro because he is the most humble imo, is because they are all the same. I prefer watching just one content creator than multiple because it feels that you are watching the same crap but with a different title. One of the things I HATE the most is the unwanted rankings… Every single of these clowns have to at least a BS ranking like who ask? Anyone? Who ask for a ranking? If only one of two did it ok, but all of them? Nah man. When people come up with fresh ideas like impossible challenges then now we are talking, something new instead of useless ranking or same reactions or reacting to a freaking trailer of an incoming update.
How are we praising literally the most predatory and least player friendly monetization model?

As someone who only plays HSR and ZZZ, we need to also consider that genshin releases fewer characters unlike the two other gacha games to the point it isn't funny. While GI will typically have 1 new and 1 re-run per patch so of couse, with the current life span of the game, most won't be pulling on old characters if they have already pulled and shell money on characters.
And this is one of my main concerns on ZZZ too and hopefully it's just in the beginning and won't be as bad as HSR.
There's only one 5* next patch in wuwa and the other fearured character is a 4*.
Kuro does this in pgr to give people a break.

there's quite a amount of talk about there being a co-op focused update in wuwa very soon since it has alot of problems, it lags alot even the chat system is bad and there's not much to do other than farming. Regarding this you can make a video about things they can improve in co-op mode like the shiny one you recently made. There's literally so many possibilities like giving us 2 options for hologram boss fights, one being solo and the other being co-op that you can fight with your friends the multiplayer one might not have as good of a reward because it'll be easy if there's more people and they can even make it harder heck just make it a weekly boss fight that you can do in co-op that's extremely hard and gives lil bit of primos on weekly basis. that's all I have to say for now coz I don't wanna make this comment longer than it already is.
I can't play WuWa bc i'm poor and can't afford good device, that's why i don't watch any content related to it, bc there's no point in it. I wish i could play but alas.... Same with Zzz, actually. Genshin and HSR are the only things i play and watch content on. But genshin being an open world and reaction based game is more easier to create content and challenges around. It just has more "freedom" (even if it's actually not), in comparison to HSR, unfortunately. And that's why there's more content around Genshin than around HSR. In my opinion at least.
Us minecraft players are taking a break from gacha games, going back to minecraft because they just added a gacha system (1.21) :)
Its a very very simple equation. It happnened when genshin twitch content demand died back in early 2021
Once people got to late game and into the meat of grind , the charm died off. They dont wanna watch creators run into the same roadblocks they ran into / spend their way around said problem.
These games lack replayability or experimentation atleast in the early days. In BOTW , you can get a soup laddle and run straight to Gannon. Thats why the creation space is so barren. People don't wanna engage with these games beyond the initial hype period.
You are spending 10 mins at most in each if these games minus a few content spikes here and there.
Hot anime girls/boys and gambling go hand in hand. However the downfall (regardless of the time it takes) is ALWAYS brutal. Because in order to keep that formula you can guarantee that the company in question has employed at least one veeeery sus employee and tactic. And from them starts a domino effect. I still play genshin but after the reveal of natlan it was clear( well for me) that the game reached a desperate point from the design of the girls. Perhaps not now, but you'll eventually see how genshin becomes another honkai impact 3rd in terms of fan service, the only saving grace now is the effort it puts in world building but really....how many stay in a map after like the first months of its lunch? And how long will genshin see putting such effort as profitable..when all it takes is just another meta "booba" character and a skin?
Good luck on your second channel and also at least in my case I just find a lot of Genshin contact creators to be like more entertaining for some strange reason maybe because like they got some big personalities like you like you’re not really a Genshin contact creator but you do have a very entertaining personality, in my opinion

My advice is to just focus less on Meta and go and make more fun content involving the game.
Like mems or just fun videos like the ones from Rawfler.
I unsubbed from pretty much everyone that were genshin ogs. All they put out is drama content or guides they can only make because of a priviledged access to a special server.
Most of the smaller CC's like you, hexjuice, zmm and lily aquina are not only putting out helpful content but putting forth interesting ideas.
I've been saying for a long time these CC's need to play something other than gacha.

Nah man, it's just that most of the contenr creators of hsr, wuwa and zzz sucks. In hsr and zzz, given the repetitiveness of their combat system and the fact that hsr has absolutely no skill, it's just stat and character check, there cant be as much variety of content for cc's. And for wuwa, who has a path for content, content creators of this game are wayy too busy trashtalking genshin, farming drama and talking about how genshin could never this or that by making comparisons videos between characters animations anyway. The few wuwa creators who just enjoy their game without thinking are just rexlent and narushio...
Only genshin has a good variety of content and the fact the game didnt set itself as an endgame focused game but rather an exploration and story one, makes some people angry, but others just look at the good and search for new content that's all. So yeah, gacha content creation sucks because people just see "endgame" and "trashtalking genshin" as their main content

WuWa has more creators that focus on the content, they just aren't big like Rexlent. I do think the big creators in the scene that focused on drama and gacha wars muddied the waters for normal creators.

Nah I disagree. Genshin CC just have allot more creativity with their content. Making fan made animations, skits and lore. Hoyo games in general and especially genshin just know how to pump out content that keeps that community engagement
