I truly envy all players who are enjoying this game. I wanted to enjoy the game so badly, BUT I can’t. That’s because it always lags on my PC which is made for gaming and every other game I play on it runs smoothly and I hate playing action games on my phone. Seriously I’ve tried everything I could to fix it but the game lags so bad that I can’t play the game properly at all!! Now I just bought a Backbone to play action those games and it’s great, HOWEVER WuWa laughed at me cus it doesn’t support the device! I know there’s a trick to use it by connecting a Bluetooth controller like a PS5 controller for example, but if that’s the case then what’s the point of using it!!! I’ve already came to the conclusion that I will never enjoy this game until it comes on PS5 and/or I get a whole new computer but why would I do that just for one game when all the other games run smoothly on it.

ok so I dont want to take away everything kuro as done so far, not only for wuwa but for pgr too. that being said I think its unfair for other companies that people, especially content creators are basically saying that they are the only ones that actually listen to their community. I you have played some gacha games from different companies u would know that there are some that actually care about their player base. Just to name some: Level Infinite, Seasun Games, Smilegates and event Hoyoverse (namely HSR and ZZZ devs)

I just started playing it last night, I've been playing genshin for over a year now. I love genshin but gosh they are fumbling the bag hard in nathlan, especially maviuka who is looking like a disappointment as well. I have to say I'm really impressed with wuwa, I know they don't have the budget like hoyo does, but gosh they are putting in the effort. Some things I feel wuwa does better pros 1. The Gacha is so much better 2. When switching to another character it's immediate plus they come in with a flash - what I really hate about genshin is when switching my char, it dies off-filed anyway. 3. When switching to another char there is no delay, whereas genshin it can feel like you need to smash the key over and over before it switches 4. Combat - now combat is very different I know, but I feel it's better for another reason, I just can't say what exactly... but something feels buttery smooth about it cons 1. the menu system in wuma is very confusing to me there are simply too many things going on 2. The storytelling is kinda meh - I'm not feeling it - it's ok but not good \ genshin storytelling is good but the way they deliver it is bad, however they did a great job in getting me hooked 3. The chars speaking feel a bit hollow - like they just reading of a script and not actually into it. Maybe the newer chars are better? don't know yet 4. Music, now this is probably due to their budget - the music in genshin is just great. From the loading screen to in-game \ wuma has a bit of a way to go with this. Overall I would give genshin a 7.4\10 and wuma a 7.8\10 I see genshin getting worse and wuma getting better in the near future.

While i love how it looks i fell like unless there are major qof improvemnts it will be hard to compete with ananta

The biggest thing that I would like to see is some backstory for some of the original characters we got also a way to recycle unwanted five-star echoes into materials for echoes that you wish to level up

6+ months in - optimization is still shit. Who are they listening to? Customer support is silent, log sending - pointless. I do like this game and I really enjoyed it in 1.0 , 3 days after the launch when it got better. And every patch since - it's a lottery.

All they need is balancing character ratios between male and female characters, but it's small chance since their CN player base kinda weird

what makes wuwa better is not just the graphic or gameplay, but it having a great dev who listen to its player base is really a great point in keeping wuwa alive.....

I love Weathering Waves, but the story since the second update has become disgusting because of the addition of a lot of girls' characters to a goal that does not serve the story Since the second update, nothing dazzling happened or revealed secrets about the rover or who the enemies are or the danger that the rover must face and there are many boring conversations I have come to hate the story, but the style of play is still my favorite❤

I started playing WuWa on day 1 and was extremely laging to the point where it was almost unplayable (problems with dodging and stuff like that). I got Yinlin and left after that. I came back when they released Camellya patch because I couldn't stand missing her banner. Turns out that i missed free electro 5 star that would be sopporter by Yinlin but the game turns out to be well optimized now and I play it everyday with my S2 Camellya and her signature weapon.

Well.. this is why i do not count myself as a member of WW community even if i play it. Shilling is off the chart. Over exhilaration over mundane things, telling overs, (much more successful) developers how to do things. This is all so funny.

wuwa has such a mutual healthy relation ship with its fanbase which is rather rare

Kuro Games know how to treat players, especially in PGR they announced they will sync the CN server and Global server in terms of the patch updates so that global players won't wait the what CN patch will have and DMC will collab also in PGR.

Just waiting for it to hit console so I can continue playing, I dont enjoy open world games on my phone personally

No, it’s not. The game is horribly buggy and horribly optimized. Hoyo makes games so great they don’t have to constantly give out free shit to keep their players on board. You are so out of touch with reality

Comparing it to Genshing Impact, WuWa feel more fluid and alive than GI I enjoyed WuWa more storywise and music wise sadly the story is short for now.

I've loved it from day one! I’ve been a Genshin Impact player for nearly four years, and now I play WuWa daily as well. Both are great games, but I have to say WuWa really did its homework. They’ve improved so many aspects, just a little bit better in every direction. The fighting feels cooler, the movement is smoother, the storytelling is stronger, and the artwork is simply stunning. Overall, for me, Genshin has met its match in WuWa.

No, wuwa is only a wake up call for hoyo-fan. They treat their player like walking wallet, pushing out low quality product and their fan still consume. Wuwa did literary the same as other games, they ain't generous that ppl said (they do but not to that point), blue archive gives out a lot of pulls, nikke consistently gives out 10 pulls for no reasons at all, pgr give bunch of free meta units with multiple way to upgrade or obtain 1 copy of every characters, new girl frontline game I literary just build up pity 2 times and getting 3 right now ON FEATURE BANNER, not including standard. All other gacha game is generous, only hoyoverse game is stingy on both monetization and product quality, cus we all addicted, like league players they hate the game but they still spent money and play although it is so bad.

Wuwa is so good with their community, it is actually intimidating and scary for me, cause It's not something we see ever from others like it. For them to be such a marketing mystery, and also listen to players feedback. I think even the most skeptic (myself example) can feel excited for 2025.

I'm excited for the console release

As someone who likes to play games that have a good storyline, Wuwa in my opinion is a little bit weak compared to some of the other games that I have played. However, I see the potential in Wuwa and want to keep playing, especially with a new region coming out.

I come back to wuthering waves just now after quiting on 1.2 because the game isn't running smoothly on my gaming device and I have hoyo games so I focus on them more especially Genshin Impact which is on peak right now but when I saw Carlotta and Phoebe drip marketing I give it a try and it is now better compare to before I am also playing at maximize graphics because I enjoyed it a lot when I can saw the details and colors more.

While we can hope that other companies learn from Wuwa’s growth, I’ve kinda given up on genshin. The star rail and zzz teams still seem to listen to players feedback but genshin is just becoming,,, the waifu harem game with potentially cool lore delivered horribly (most of the time, sometimes they get it right). Genshin is comfortable in its mediocrity because it hasn’t threatened the game’s profitability yet. It’s given up on its own flavor with Natlan purely for the sake of giving us bigger spectacles to spend money on.

just started out 2 weeks ago, broke my back while climbing about 4 weeks ago and i finished the biggest project in my education (80+ hours on a school project) about 2 days after I started WuWa. i have so incredibly much time because i finished the project, have nothing to work on, cant go to school for more than 3 hours and not allowed to do anything intensive. I have reached rank 37 and i would be data bank 19 if there wasnt a cap of 18 before reaching rank 20. my thoughts until now: i can keep playing the game and it just looks and feels amazing, there are some quite challenging things i cannot do yet but i don't mind. the exploring is nice, killing all the enemies you see is actually rewarding. I LOVEEE the 'resin' (not sure what its called) system that you can like overflow it for 480. the combat feels amazing, the cynematics are great, the exploration is nice. i do see a lot of similarities with genshin tho like a lot lot but that only makes it easier for me to understand. i love the echoes system that echoes are more than just like an object for stats but also you can choose which echo is your main thing to use before like switching out (at least that's how i've been using it until now lol) so yea my experience has been great so far, i think i completed the main quest until now also in this time i managed to get 3 5* characters without using the 5* selector. one thing i dont like is the split up standard weapon banner and standard character banner bc in genshin i just do a 10 pull on standard whenever i have 10 but now i have to think about what to spend it on lol.

I wasn't as enthused by the Shorekeeper story (character is really nice, though), but the Camellya update was across the board great. Story was good, character is OP, and the QoL updates were amazing.

the amount of glazing for the absolute bare minimum is insane

as a primarily wuthering and genshin player, I'm the most excited for this game. everything about it is top tier to the character design, open world, story, and even the gear system, which improves on wuthering and genshin's systems. I'm in love with NTE ever since it was announced and hope the devs improve NTE more.
