Small correction if I may. Super Soco have not omitted a USB port. There is one just slightly underneath the right hand brake fluid reservoir. it is covered by a water-proof flap, (which has a USB Symbol embossed on it).
Interesting! How do you connect up to a smartphone from there without interfering with the forks?
@@TotallyEV I'd use a mirror root mounted phone holder and connect the phone with a short usb cable. The position is a bit awkward to be fair, and the handlebars don't have much space for a suitable phone mount, I struggle to get my quadlock in at a position I like, so I'm considering getting one that attaches at the mirror root instead.
So, are we right in saying that most people won't be able to use the USB port conveniently without a certain setup/mount? Nonetheless it's good to see there is a USB port, but didn't notice it nor saw it mentioned anywhere in the manual (unless we missed it?).
@@TotallyEV it's easy to miss. It is the same colour with the cables and almost looks like some sort of cable-tie.
The fact that electric motorcycles are so quiet makes it difficult to be noticed by vehicles in traffic, making riding a motorcycle more dangerous.
That's true.
Thanks for great review! Much informative and useful.
Pleasure, glad you liked the review!
good review, good video quality ! top job
Thank you!
Thanks for this - any insight into how any restrictions size-wise? I’m 6’3 and usually cautious about being too tall for smaller bikes. Cheers.
No issues as mentioned in the video as someone who is just under 6ft; was perfect ergonomically. Don't recall any set restrictions in terms of height - maybe best trying at a dealership?
Moving soon to a place with no garage. Really thinking of getting one of these so I can put it in my flat. My other bikes smelling of petrol and leaking oil on the floor ain't gonna cut it. Just wondering if I'll be able to get it through the hall and door easily enough. Would rather have one of these over a lexmoto cypher, just the lexmoto is a bit more doorway friendly.
Also twin bat model be handy to riding out to where I'll be storing my other bikes for longer rides.
Thanks for sharing!
I have a Electric Enduro 72 volt e-bike and it gets about the same range. But the 5000 watt motor it has allows you to get to 54 MPH (86 KM/H). I am in the USA so need to find some one that can ship me a SoCo bike. would love to get one. Good video thanks
Thanks for sharing, and glad you liked the video!
Hot tip: check out the Savic electric motorbike from Savic in Melbourne, Australia.
Thanks for sharing!
super video. i have .just bought a Wanderer similar spec ..just a different design.its easy like riding an ebike..hopefully there will be mechanics if it needs attention ..thanks
Glad you liked the review! Have you got the dual or single battery model?
@@TotallyEV yes got single battery....not sure where you get batteries from.....tracking and connecting to ecu not working..not much help ftom dealer or vmoto website x
@@robinbarker2607Could you please share the average range in your real scenario? Thanks in advance!
One battery ...32 miles urban ..average speed 30 mph
I bought a Wanderer last month, and in my case, it does roughly 50 km (+/-30 mi) without much restriction on the chosen level and with a mostly leveled road.
Riding in level 1 one, same leveled roads, I have done around 70 km (+/- 43 mi).
Could you review their previous 45mph TC model too, it's lighter, has more third-party battery options, plus better price.
And likewise, their faster 60mph TC-Max belt-driven model too, please!
Would love to review all of them, but time is always a factor - potentially!
I think i see USB on your steering Wheel. In the Netherlands It Comes with USB
I think these bikes are excellent for commuters in big cities.
Yup, great fun to ride!
@@TotallyEV you mentioned one retailer is pricing the extra battery at £500, could share the retailer's details with us please? Best regards
See our written review, from memory it's linked. Hope that helps!
I buy and sell a lot of bikes and fingers crossed will be doing a deal on one of these
in countries like Poland where the limit is 45km/h, is it possible to unlock the speed in a
fairly easy way?
By unlock, what do you mean?
@@TotallyEV deleting speed limit
No idea, sorry!
App not worth a light works when it wants and can't get tracker info when stolen if app not working. Alarm is useless too
It's down to 2999 now. Great value. I got the dual battery version brand new for 3499
Congratulations!
September 50% sale for all soco bikes in local shop
2350€ for dual battery version
@@lolenas definitely no sale here in the uk. The dual battery version price actually increased by 100.
Way too expensive for such tiny range and long charge times.
Even the best electric bikes out there Zero are shit for range and charge times, Electric is not going to replace ICE bikes, not possible.
does it have regen?
From memory, it does, but check the review (both video and written for more info).
@@TotallyEV i have checked video, but i didnt see it; if it has
🐱♥️♥️♥️👍🏿
Revolt rv400
how tall r u?
Just under 6ft (180cm).
Is it good for long ride ?
Long ride bahahaha it does like 80kms range downhill hahaha
Unfortunately, people don't watch the video and comment. It's infuriating.
can you do a wheelie on it?
No idea haha!
Just got one. No you can't do a wheelie on it but I had no problems doing a hand stand.
Amazing haha, would love to see that!
Do I need driving license for this ?
You'll need a CBT or a full bike licence
Riding on the motorway 😂 the only range you'd need is to the cemetery.
I'm still alive!
Poor poor range my Honda pcx on a tenners worth of fuel even in the cold returns 200 miles. Long way to go before I consider electric
Fair enough. They're not for everyone!
FACTS. 35 miles is utterly disgraceful.
@@peaky237they're for city riding. Anyways I've got the dual battery version and do a 50 mile round trip everyday it handles it no problem and I charge at work so it costs me absolutely nothing to run.
@@peaky237in the US sure. In europe its a blessing
But you have to live with a bad concious for letting you burn petrol...
is it automatic?
Yes!
What are these miles he keeps talking about 🫠
Does it have Regen.
It does. However, how it works and how effective it is I don't know.
They just brought out a pro version for £4300. Has the dual batteries and new 60mph top speed. I am tempted to trade my original one in.
Interesting!
@@TotallyEV the range is lower though because it's the same battery capacity but with more power
And currently on an introductory Super Soco promotion available for £1,000 less than the normal £4,299.00 price until the end of August, making it an even better prospect.
@@andyfidler8544 that's really good value to be honest. these electric bikes are getting better month by month.
