So many people making theories these days. So here's mine: Viola is in fact Cereza, which is Bayonetta's younger self, but from a different universe. In Viola's universe, Bayonetta defeated Balder and Jubileus, however both her and Jeanne died and so little Cereza couldn't be returned back to the past (her real time). Because of this Cereza was adopted and raised by Luka and changed her name to Viola. Without an Umbra witch to guide and train her, she can use umbran basic magic but never really made a pact with a demonic entity, instead enchanting her toy Cheshire to become her "demon" companion. The first ever trailer for this game where Bayonetta is killed and cut in half must be from Viola's universe. Also, since she was raised in modern time by Luka, that might be why her style is so rebellious looking.
This is one I haven't heard before, I really like it. It's really interesting and makes sense with the way Viola is dressed having some details that look like Luka.
surprised that no one noticed Viola's connection to Bayo and Luka with her name meaning violet which is both a color and flower, having Cheshire as a living demon along with a grappling hook and having checkered patterns in her outfit like Luka's, even Bayo and Viola's theme song are similair with both being about reuniting with someone.
Some of these things I've noticed after I uploaded but thank you for bringing some of this to my attention it's really cool seeing even more details on rewatches
@@throwawaydetective9080 Didn't Kamiya said Bayo wouldn't make a move on Luka due to her being an immortal 500yo witches and hom being a normal human ?
For the wiccan symbol, I have two propositions. The mother could be Jeanne cause of her tough mother habits in Bayonetta one and then Bayonetta being crone cause she was the one that slept for 500 years, and then became the more wise fighter in Bayonetta 2. For the second (which I think is more likely) Jeanne is the Crone cause she was a better and wiser fighter in Bayonetta one then the repose could be her "getting rusty" and then Bayonetta becoming the better fighter, then the death would be what happened in Bayontta 2.
Those are really good points, I don't know why I didn't think of that since Jeanne does address Viola in the trailer I was just thinking experience and seeing the bayonetta with scars know about someone with the line "i believe you two have already met" as wisdom lol
@@UmbranLumen I think it could go either way to be honest. My brain went with Jeanne cause main character. Yours went with digging brain. I think both are valid just kind of depends on the context. Another way could be Cereza as the Maiden then our Bayonetta as the Mother and then the future Chinese Bayonetta as the crone. I don’t think it’s as clean cut as one right answer.
@@UmbranLumen no problem. If you want to see the exact gun, search up a revolving triple barrel flintlock. It should show you the right ones. There’s also one that’s very close to what hers look like.
Bayonetta 3 finnna go CRAZYYYYY

@@UmbranLumen Plus the fact that she uses grappling hooks like Luka, and her pants look exactly like his scarf
This make so much sense.
Wait this actually makes sense

If Bayonetta actually marries Luka I'll probably be disappointed. He doesn't deserve her.

Sorry if this sounded rude I haven’t slept and can’t think of another way of saying it. Wasn’t meant to be rude!
No worries you have a genuinely good point and it didn't sound rude :)
@@UmbranLumen Pa
Rodin's outfit really makes him look like Freddy Krueger
That's pretty funny lol
its been a wild ride
SNAPCUBE REFERENCE HAD ME ROLLING
Man I thought that was a male bayonetta on the second trailer
Man imagine if they announce a fourth entry and it’s a male
That would be a really fun twist but itd probably have to be a Lumen Sage or something which we kinda have in the tag climax battles in Bayonetta 2
Triple barrel flintlocks do actually exist.
Thank you! I must have looked at something else when looking stuff up, I wish I could put an annotation but good catch! Always appreciated!
