Somehow this is one of the most impressive runs I've seen from Jordy. They're all impressive, but Sunset Vista is such a nasty level to find time saves on, and those tens of little nuanced movements Jordy made to obtain them - I must have said "wow" twenty times. Another thing worth mentioning: there's a certain aesthetic beauty to a near-optimized speedrun, and Sunset Vista, due to the way it forces you to pause and wait around, is extremely difficult to achieve that kind of fluid elegance on. This run is the closest I've seen to getting something like that from it. Just... wow. Wow.

I'm sure others have found very cool strats and tricks as well and I'm not taking anything away from them, but my god you have raised the bar and set the standard for what you need to be capable of to attain a World Record in some of these levels!

Thanks Youyou it took me a while to realise how to destroy that box and make that platform but its basically triggering all the pull board cycles on the climbs as early as physically possible and it had be stumped for a long time. As for the cycle it required trial and error at its finest :)

1:14 it' s very difficult, but you can spin jump on the edge, so you can go streight ahead without that pause Great time Jordy the Master, my PB is 2:30 :(
Yes I agree I think it might be possible with the absolute perfect jump from the time where I somehow clipped the edge and needed a second jump to stay on but even if I made it the pull boards will go in too early because of it so its no all that useful anyway. Obviously if you're on PC that jump will be much more doable and 2.30 is a really good time :)
