What a beast, I just did a high 56 after trying for 40 minutes, I feel I have in me a low 54/high 53, but the level of fine control is just way too much for me to do consistently in three laps Seeing you get a high 45 is just mindblowing, I can see the extreme control you have of the kart while hugging thsoe walls and managing the reserves, awesome run. I can only imaging the dedication to achieve this.

7:17 is one of the more overt examples of the over-restriction of the angles in NST and really can feel like you can only access 4 directions. NST alters the angular restriction per level-type, and for 2D heavy stages like The Lost city or the Bonus Stages it's the most restrictive at about 75 degrees around each axis. This only leaves a tiny sliver of the stick that covers the entire diagonal range. I'm not sure what the scope of the restriction variety was in the originals, but OG Crash 2 was nowhere near that restricted. It's maximum restriction in the 2D areas seemed to about 20 degrees in comparison, and close to what would be expected if dividing the stick into 8-segments to mimic a d-pad. Keeping that original level of restriction would have made that jump just as easy as with the d-pad.

I played this game pretty regularly when it first came out (last played probably a couple years ago) and found you and a handful of others through searching your names from the leaderboards in game. You’ve done it once again Jordy. What an amazing milestone in CTR: Nitro Fueled history! Tiny Arena was one of my favorite tracks in the game, especially with the heavy skill level it requires for sub 3 to become free online but for you I bet sub 2:50 is free online! Your perseverance and super grinding is always inspiration and motivation not just for this game but even other challenges we face in other games or IRL situations. Congrats on the 2:45, and it’s a really solid 2:45 too! Honestly at this point now… Sewer Speedway for 1:39 is the only milestone left I’m looking forward to in this game if it can be done by anyone. Maybe one day.
