That's probably the red override switch. On some buses, you hit the red override, and the red flashers, stop sign, and crossing arm will come on/out before you open the door.
That'd be a disaster if that was here in MCPS because because we have cameras for the stop sign and on the 2020s+ the stop sign and crossing arm don't go in until about 5 more seconds
The ISB or B6.7 is 6.7L... the ISC is the same but an 8.3L displacement. It has since been discontinued and replaced by the L9 which has an 8.9L displacement
Such a beautiful bus, I always thought the Blue-Birds looked the best but this HDX changed my mind.
That's a nice feature how the stop arm lights don't go off until it's back in place.
That’s how it is for electric stop signs the bus I ride does the same thing but with air they deactivate as soon as you turn off the switch

HDXX da goat
Even better than All AMerican
This reminds me of the 2021 c2 with all the cameras on the outside
Very nice!
For some reason I feel like I’ve seen this bus before...
Don't look at it.
@@ICFE300 ???
Never seen that style of school bus sign. Are we gonna see any future videos of this bus?
Are you going to do a bus ride with the HDX?

Is that the only one?
Yep.
Engine looks like the B6.7
Because it is.
yeah dont like that stop arm unit but otherwise great looking bus
What's the difference between a Cummins 6.7 L Engine and this Cummins ISC? I know the 6.7 is an in-line six cylinder.
ISC been discontinued for about 10 years now

theyre both inline sixes
the 8.3 isc's bigger than the 6.7 isb
Ok I understand now.
They changed the back exit window handle. Can u do a demo of how it works plz I would love to see how the new handle design works
And the window itself
Now this right here costs a pretty penny $$
At least two of them.

1 horn 2 horn at 2:24
