It's such a beautiful boat. 1 day I wish I could have one I gotta late start on my career so I got 20 years worth of retirement to save for now, before I can get anything like that. Thank you for the tour. And such a beautiful boat have a great day.
The selection of boats you are touring these days is getting better and better and for boats of this size I think your tours are the best available. Thank you
I have grown up on Vikings and absolutely love them! So happy to see you doing a tour of a 72. Great job Jack! I hope you have an opportunity to operate one of these in the future.
I do not think this boat looks much from the outside but wow when you go inside it is like a Tardis Huge, I love all of the interior with the beautiful wood and a great layout, great quality everywhere and that engine room is awesome. Great tour Jack thank you.
Love your comment about the tuna tower and being pleased about the sea keeper, Jack the best yacht reviewer full stop 👍👍👍, always remember when I first saw the swordfish boats in italy many years ago with the long bowsprit and super high tower driving towers scary stuff they only went out in calm weather😳😳😳
Jack - love your channel, and even though I'm not interested in fishing, you did a wonderful job showing the detail and engineering that went into such a great yacht. keep up the great work!
That’s kind of you to say, Jason, thanks. I’m far from an expert on boats like this but the focus and engineering really stood out for me. Thanks for watching - Jack
Fantastic boat if fishing is your thing. Easy to see why they’re the market leader! Brilliant tour as always, although slightly disappointed we didn’t see you up on the tuna tower 🫣
Hope you get to sea trial this one! I live in North Carolina on the Crystal Coast. It's a sight to see when one of these sportfishers are heading out at speed for the fishing grounds. I think you're going to really enjoy your job if you get to run this one👍
Oooo she a real beauty. Viking have hit it out of the baseball park with this one. They have used quality materials to build this Fishing Lady of the Sea. 4:17 like that seat you where in comfortable. The helm equipment is amazing and very on point for fishing on the fly bridge. Plus leisure sunbathing. Then you get onto the blessedness of the salon and air-conditioning. Bliss in the heat. Galley is fabulous. Cabins are comfortable and stylish. But no natural light. I have the VIP if I was the owner. The engine room looks as high quality as the rest of the boat. Bomb proof what ever conditions they meet at sea she'll deal with it.
A very nice Sportsfisher. Front and side railings, along with a tender and crane would be a great added cost, for safety and flexibility whist cruising along at 45 knots. Thanks Jack
After years of Viking building extraordinary boats, it all accumulate's in this '74'. Although all the available refrigeration on the flybridge is a bit of overkill, having to climb up a ladder with a large fish seems both cumbersome and dangerous at the same... time
For the flybridge it can be specified with the staircase, and if you specify the enclosed plus sky-bridge tuna tower it is also safer. Also they can be specified with railings, East Coast which ends at were the fore deck starts, or West coast which ends near the coamings. These railing less version are what is called the Palm Beach versions also used since Viking went for an all in flush deck, which was only prominent on the custom boats till about a decade ago. This first hull was specified in the most old school version.
@@PowerYacht You sound like a Viking aficionado, thanks for the information on the flybridge, what an amazing boat. But with the amount of refrigeration up there, it''s a bit of... overkill Cheers!

@@MJSE-of7gs I have fantasized about many things in my life, (eg. looking at this boat I can't afford, is one of them) but carrying large fish up to a fly-bridge ain't one of them. @@MJSE-of7gs Are you saying the live bait well on the Viking 74, with over 101 gallons or optional 122, is not enough storage? Or waste, isn't that what trash compactor are for? Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous Yacht Captn. Jack! Thanks for sharing this. Love Viking Yachts ❤ 😂😂
Glad you enjoyed it!
When you go to any fishing tournament in east coast, you see at least few Vikings. I fished on a few of them. Excellent boats at fast trawling speed.
Very cool!

I’d love to experience it, Jeff! Cheers - Jack
Thanks for your review Jack. Very thorough as usual. These are impressive offshore fishing battlewagons.
Cheers Duncan! - J
Absolutely stunning ✔️👀👍
This yacht would suit me perfectly. I like to keep my tackle neatly tucked away.
😏
That boat suits you Jack! 😉
Grea to see you reviewing more US boats too 👍
Thanks, more to come! - J

Excellent fishing yacht in my opinion nice walk through so capt jack how come you didn’t climb the tuna tower
Saving it for the sea trial 👀
Thanks Jack! Proud Viking fan here. 😊
Glad to hear it, Chris! - J
I really like this yacht. It's very different from anything that we've seen. I noticed that you didn't go up on the highest deck?😉
👀
Love
Great review Jack , have you placed your order ? as we need a sea trial here in the UK ,YARMOUTH here we come with fresh fish . An amazing boat .
Now that would cause a stir in Yarmouth harbour! - Jack
beasty beasty
🦾
Throttles are split so it’s easier to back down on a Fish!

What's the convertible part? Nice boat
The convertible description means that the bridge isn't sealed off from outdoor weather. If it was it would then be called a closed bridge.

Does it have an interior helm station? Or did i miss it.
No, not on this version. There is no option to have a helm station on the main deck - Jack
@@Yachtbuyer Thanks, got confused by the tinted windows at the front. Great review regardless.
Cheers Chris. Yes, they all have, it’s purely a style thing. You can see the inside of it in that tech room/extra cabin forward of the galley - Jack
Go up the tuna tower 😂!!!
Will have to save that for the sea trial 😉
They don't allow that in boat shows
Hey Jack, does Viking have a presence in Mediterranean, or Europe in general?
Not that I’m aware of, Chris - Jack
what is the best boat under 1m usd. looking for the biggest boat within the Budget
Take a look at this: th-cam.com/video/teFvCF95GWA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=i_wqwN3CC9612JW3
I only wish I could see in front of the boat while driving😅 I know all the business is in the back but yeah
You can see the bow just fine from the flybridge 👍 - Jack
Viking. Great boats. But give me the Riviera 72 everytime. ( I can't afford either. Just giving me opinion)
Can you see the bow from the driver’s seat?
Yes 👍
How much
$10,000,000
Perfect boat to go fishing when you're on your 1 hour lunch break and come back with XX pounds/kilos of fish. 😅
You need to step up your thumbnail for these vids. Doesn't represent the detailed tour you provide. Love your work!
Interesting… what would you suggest? - Jack
@@YachtbuyerI think the thumbnails look good. Don't know why he thinks you need to step them up
We've tweaked it, what do you reckon?

A Riviera will give you a sky deck, a real mezzanine, more interior space and real range for the same price.
Where they have the Hoover...points at a Dyson... lol.
