    Olthoff was an all-american last year and looks like he's headed straight to MLB. This is what it looks like when an MLB-talent pitcher faces a college team. Look up some of Stephen Strasburg's game footage when he was at SDSU, same thing, he goes through the opposing lineup like the Germans went through France.

      @@bootsgonesavage Schools don't matter a whole lot in baseball. Dudes get drafted out of D2 quite regularly and there's usually about 15 d3 guys drafted every year. Even with that said, Tulane is a solid program historically.

      If you look up this pitcher (Braden Olthoff) and pull up an article related to this incident, he says that it's because there's a bubble there and he pushes down on it. Whether that's the truth, we will never know, but the umpires didn't find anything.

      That is some funny shit now that I see it. His torso only turns about 30 degrees, for the most part he just faces the plate and throws...and the ball turns a corner. I’d be calling for the umps also!

    He could just like his glove a little looser and hes fixing it each through.
    I remember when I played as a kid i did the same thing, pushing it there pushes the whole gloves back into the palm of your hand. Would be a bad spot to put tar anyways since its usually... you know.. where the ball ends up when you catch it. It would be obvious after a few pitches since it would eventually coat the ball.
