*Its nature..* we are wired differently..nature has given men this instinct so that our species can thrive. *Ofcours it shouldn't be an excuse for improper behaviour* as we live in a civilization and our actions are not solely based on instincts like animals. We first think, decide and then act.

This was a really awesome video, thanks! There are so many different techniques for teaching the recall and most of them only describe a few points in the training, instead of working the way through the entire process like this video does. And for a newbie dog owner like myself, whilst i understand the principle and can in theory add any steps i find missing, i feel much more confident having a step by step process available that i can follow closely. So thanks!

I love the way you say dog. Also very helpful video, my Great Dane is typicall very obedient with most things, he will stay when I command, sit, lay shake, roll over, basic trick shit I just winged. Glad to have a much more comprehensive video to use to teach him to come properly, that's the one thing I have trouble with. I let him out early in the mornings (off his leash, no one is around), and when I call him he gives me a look KNOWING he's being disobedient on purpose, and when I finally get him in the door he looks like a scolded child.

I really like your style of training. My dog knows many of the basic commands, I wanted to teach her heel, she is 2 years old now. I watched the heel video and I took about 10 minutes to work with her to see if she was still enthusiastic about learning and making me happy. She nailed it in 10 minutes, of course I do need to continue with it, but she's off to a great start, thank you so much for these videos.

Thanks for the great vid, helped remind me of what I was doing wrong with my adult dog...she is trained and has great personality but she was lacking with the command "Come". Her response was lacking, as you described in this vid. Did your technique and she is back on track and the "distraction come" training worked great. She now responds to my "Come" command in an instant. And I don't need treats. And this training only took a hour or so... it was a great piece of "refresher training" for me :)
