HER VOICE IS MORE VELVELTY THAN HER DRESS !
She sounds like came straight out of the ball room scene in a movie
Very rich
Her voice is like dark chocolate, goddamn its so smooth
She sounds like melted dark chocolate...
Shw reminds me of Sara Bareilles.
Her accent is beautiful... so many people’s accents completely disappear when they sing and I really appreciate it when they don’t, a nice antidote from the same sounds you seem to hear from almost every vocalist!
what accent?
she has an accent?
Right! That was the first thing I noticed!! It is so beautiful and adds so much more to the style of her voice.
She's from Maryland. It's an affectation.
Your so right
This moment when you realize that the drummer looks like Vincent Van Gogh and you have to check his left ear to make sure.
First reply in 903 likes and 9 months.
And yes. I know.
Back story, he sent the ear along with a note that read, “Haven’t heard from you lately.”
@@classixdrummer back story, he didn't cut of his ear...only a little part (the lobe) and it was some tipe of drunk joke with a friend of him.
I think you might be overthinking this. My line was an obvious joke within which I took a little poetic license to round out the joke.
It is nice to see an Alto used for this instead of a soprano.
I can sing along with this a lot easier than most others
I didn't think she was an alto cause she seemed like she had trouble with the low note at 0:25, but maybe the note just sounded like it should've been lower
Alexis Hansen This Girl sounds more like a contralto, so that note might not be in her range.
@@duffymarie3322 Contralto is the lowest female voice type?
Jordan Peckham I think they meant Mezzo. More commonly known as a second soprano. You’re right that contraltos are women who can usually drop into tenor range.
This sounds like it should be played over a black and white detective murder mystery
Y e s
I feel like this song should play while the killer murders the victim and the private investigator realizes they should have believed the victim before they died.
I was thinking more of a western,
Like after the bad guy is shot and everything just settles down
I think Miss Jackson would fit that theme more
I like how she uses the darker parts of her voice for a deep rich sound, contrasting with her beautiful lighter head voice.
Such a sweet, velvety voice!
Velvet. Yes. That's appropriate.
And it looks like she's wearing velvet too. What a combo
Sorry if this is a dumb question but what does velvety mean?
Diego Brando velvet is the fabric of the dress she is wearing... so a velvety voice would be very soft, smooth, kinda „dark“ and „warm“ I‘d say (but English isn’t my first language so I am sure someone might be able to explain it better ^-^)
@@dazzzlingworld oooohhh that makes sense, thanks you so much for explaining!
Hannah's voice is like pouring smoked honey over velvet. Gorgeous!
Totally!
I've waiting for Panic! at the disco cover!!!
I'm looking forward to Death of a Bachelor.
or this is gospal or emperors new clothes or i write sins not tragedies or lying is the most fun a girl can have or nine in the afternoon XD
should i go on?
Get this. Crazy=Genius
doab already has the vibes but HIGH HOPES dude... that would be such an awesome transformation
Actually I kinda want "casual affair"
Von smith has a cover of that song too
omg she has so smooooooth voice
Hannah has such an authentically rich voice! Like being wrapped in snuggie blanket while sitting in a dimly lit cafe ☆
It’s so good ♥️
I've never heard something where the instruments and the voice are such a uniform cohesive thing complimenting each other. Usually the melody and the singing are almost seperate things that compliment each other but can be played seperately. This is truly one uniform peace where each element contributes. Fantastic!
when her dress matches her voice
The drummer looks like Van Gogh
Mar at a glance, yes!
Mar the bigger news is that we can see the drummer enough to see his face
Fitting lol
A spitting image - I had to check his left ear to make sure
how ironic considering the song is a painting
D-Do we just not talk about the guy crawling out a window or into a dumbwaiter?
😂 See I saw that... I though I was seeing things as Noone else mentioned it... 😂
@Abigail Davidson 1:04
that's the clarinetist guys ^^
I swear my dude is always doing something random
oh thank god i wasn't the only one who realized that
I saw the title of this and GASPED
Me too !!!
I literally said "omg they didn't" out loud
Me too! In my mind I'm married to Brendon Urie. My husband doesn't know. Lol
Your username matches your comment xD
Dude, I was pumped too! More in the inside but still. I was just like, "Whaaaaaa," in my head. 😂😅
her range elevates this song to an epic level of showmanship
How she unashamedly moves her mouth for her sounds as strongly as her velvety voice is sending me 😍🥰💜 so many people try to hide that.
I'm getting an old school PMJ vibe here, no formula, and you're figuring it out ... as you go. I LIKE IT.
No formula, but that Django Reinhardt guitar sound at the beginning was something new.
LOL... cute you think this was just 'winged' with no rehearsal and planning.
@@MrBeardedgelfling I know it's rehearsed, but I don't think the arrangement is cast in stone. I think they mix it up with changes, on different takes, try different ideas when it doesn't feel right. What I meant was it feels like ... they're slaying it on an impromptu take.
@@RPRosen-ki2fk I think Scott may have the same outlook as Jack Conti of Scary Pockets, who has said that he is devoted to constant innovation, experimentation, and change. His reasoning is that artists who develop a popular "sound" and then arrange all subsequent songs in the same mold (e.g., Peter Frampton) succeed for a while but sooner or later lose out when popular tastes change and their sound is no longer fashionable.
@@charlesperigord1599 I agree with what you said. It's funny that you bring up Scary Pockets. I discovered them over the last year, through Kenton, and have grown to LOVE them. I kinda feel they are just like PMJ, only completely ... DIFFERENT! I'm hoping Scott invites Rett Madison to sing with PMJ.
1:13 i still can't get over at how that guy at the back just entered and fell
"Mona Lisa,
*Let* me out..."

How the hell did you change the font wtf
@@fenciszka for a bold font you put an asterisk (*) immediately before and after your text. No spaces between the asterisks and letters
That part with the verses "And if she had the proper words to say, she would tell 'em/But she don' have nothing left to sell 'em", and then that little musical bridge - oh, I could listen to just that bit for the rest of my life...! I love this beautiful rendition so much.
her voice reminds me of what carmel feels and tastes like
ther are so many shivers running down my spine rn her voice is so beautiful
You can't go wrong when PMJ and Hannah come together 🤗
She sounds so relaxing and oldies you guys did a amazing job💙😭
Lovely cover! Her voice is so rich and versatile!
This is great! Please do more alternative music, like Panic at the disco, MCR, Set it off, Fall out boy etc. I'd love to see Emperors new clothes, Victorious, King of the clouds etc 😁
MathsEliteGamer *gasp* What if they did Roaring 20s? That would be perfect!
@@othertuber707 indeed! Or a tap dance cover of Victorious
MathsEliteGamer I didn't even think of that! That would be amazing
I want to see what they can do with I'm Not Ok (I Promise)!
the Golden Spider-Duck that would be awesome! Or maybe Blood? Blood's my favorite so I'm curious what they could do with it
Top 5 of my favourite PMJ covers. She's a goddess.
Hannah Gill is back! One of the best voices of PMJ, really!
I like both versions of the song equally. I love this cover. The song is vintage-y to begin with so the cover works really well.
Her voice seems to melt my soul.
1) Her voice is heaven
2) Her highlighter is poppin'
she totally owned it!!! goosebumps won't leave me!
Her voice is perfect for this song. Loved it! 🥰
It’s so much better than the original. I did not knew this song. But now I love it… and Hannah, too🥰😍😍
Love the grove of this arrangement and that voice has an incredible tone.
With love from Belarus (Mensk) !!!!
I was so scared to see PMJ live in case they weren’t as good as they are in videos, but this song the first one I saw was SO MUCH BETTER IF THATS EVEN POSSIBLE! PMJ are truly incredible and I hope to be as good as any of them one day x
mY FRENCH CLASS CAN WAIT THIS IS IMPORTANT TYSM I'VE BEEN WAITING
edit: THIS IS SO GOOD I'M-
Le français n'attends jamais sauf au restaurant, sache le. :p
They got killed by their French teacher before they could finish this comment
les profs français sont très vicieux...
Mulher pelada
I love this so much wtf
I could listen to her sing my shopping lists and I’d still love it
i'd love to hear her sing "I put a spell on you". I think it would be perfect with her voice.
this is my fav
The finally did it 😭😭😭😍😍😍💜💜💜💜🔥
The finally did it?
The finally did it!
The doing is done and what wasn't isn't
But the incomplete doings of isn't it didn't?
Oh woe for who cares of The finally did it!
@@arcturus8896 That took me a few tries
Love the aesthetic on this one. Hannah's voice really beautifully complements the whole arrangement. And Scott, bravo on that choice to use the exposed piano. Inspired.
If you guys went on tour I would 110% watch you. You are all wonderful, phenomenal performers, and it would be a privilege to watch you live!!!
my God! Tears exploded from my eyes after listening to Hanna's voice! What an arrangement! Beautiful!
Every beautiful voice is a gift and it's not entirely uncommon but yours has the most rare quality to it. It's incredible.
Finally!! I've been wanting a Panic! At The Disco cover forever! This sounds amazing. Always so glad to hear new songs from you guys. Keep up the amazing work!
those low notes she hit are giving me LIFEEEEE
This is EXACTLY how and what I wanted to sing when I was 13
This was the fastest i ever clicked on a TH-cam notification
Hannah's voice can go from sweet and gentle to harsh and powerful at the drop of a hat! This is such a raw and raspy cover, I love it so much :DD
I love Hannah's voice so much. I can't get enough. I would like to hear more bluesy music from her
This is a real masterpiece!!! so exciting to hear it
This, along with Seven nation army, has to be one of my favorite covers you guys ever did. What a flawless voice!
I didn't even know I needed it but now that I have it, I'm living for it. My dad got me into PMJ about a year ago and this is my 3rd favorite song I've heard
and if you wanted to know, my first is their cover of 'Creep' and my second is their cover of 'seven nation army'
All I want for Christmas is "All I Want for Christmas is You," in a slow, sultry, lamenting version (like by someone who just broke up) by Ariana Savalas or the like.
Ariana is known for performing in more "scandalous" covers and styles, I feel like Ms. Reinhart or Puddles would be great. Hell, even Sarah

I am all in goose bumps from bottom to top. My body recognize the talent before my brain. She was just whispering yet , when I bristled.
Lol just noticed something's going on at the background 😂 in 1:05
Love how Hannah Gill sings 😍
This is one of the best videos of PMJ
Ok I know I'm late but oml this is amazing! I think that this style fits The Ballad of Mona Lisa really well, and I am absolutely in love with Hannah's voice. I'd love to see her in more covers!
Edit: Ok I just thought of this but could I suggest a vintage cabaret cover of the song Touch by Little Mix? I think that that style would suit the song well and I'm curious to hear how it would sound
Check out "Somebody That I Used To Know" and "Chasing Pavements". Also "Comes Love" on Scott Bradlee's own channel :-)
John G I will do that. Thanks!
Her voice is BEAUTIFUL
Her voice is so dark and buttery wow😍👌
I turned off the original for this... I'm in love! This is an amazing rendition! Beebo will be proud!
All hail beebo!!
She is an excellent actress, displaying the song through her actions. Love it!
This right here, is what music should always sound like
What a set of pipes! Beautiful
I've been following Hannah's music for a couple of years now and she has always been beautiful but her hair in this one, coupled with that dress blew my mind. She is one of the most gorgeous humans I've ever had the pleasure of laying eyes on. Much respect to you hannah gill x
Her voice is so powerfull ... love it
How has this not reached 1 million views yet?!?!?! SHOOK 😤
Her voice wow.. im mersmerized
Can you even imagine what kind of performer Hannah‘s going to be when she finally gets to be half the age that she seems to be when she's singing? It’s almost enough to make me stop drinking so nuch and do an occasional exercise just to live long enough to hear it.
This!!! This is the perfect pmj video!! Her voice is amazing and it actually sounds vintage!! Ugh so good
I legitimately would love to see Brendon perform these songs in these styles since I am pretty sure he could no problem XD
This amazing, beautiful woman let me take a picture with her in Richmond, VA two days ago. Only a new video with her in it could make life better. Thanks, PMJ! Oh! And the drummer, bass player, and trombone guy were all there too! I'm so lucky! How fun! Everything changes when you see these guys in person! Buy tickets!
Нет слов...супер вокал!!! Спасибо
her voice is perfect and beautiful for this
😄😄 FINALLY 😄😄 Thank You!!!! this is my favorite PatD song!!!! Death of a Bachelor next PLEASE!!!
Meandmy Tea my favourite too
oh my god this is my favorite panic! song... love this. I would love to see what you guys do with high hopes, casual affair, house of memories, or literally any panic song
Cudos to the trombone player at 2:48 in the back for finishing his drink, never waste a good drink
Ah shes georgous! And her voice is giving me those good chills
HOLY moly that deep voice in the beginning
The power in her voice oh my god! 💜
She paints her fingers with a close precision
He starts to notice empty bottles of gin
And takes a moment to assess the sin
She's paid for
A lonely speaker in a conversation
Her words are swimming through his ears again
There's nothing wrong with just a taste of what you've paid for
Say what you mean
Tell me I'm right
And let the sun rain down on me
Give me a sign
I want to believe
Whoa oh oh oh oh, Mona Lisa
You're guaranteed to run this town
Whoa oh oh oh oh, Mona Lisa
I'd pay to see you frown
He senses something, call it desperation
Another dollar, another day
And if she had the proper words to say
She would tell him
But she'd have nothing left to sell him
Say what you mean
Tell me I'm right
And let the sun rain down on me
Give me a sign
I want to believe
Whoa oh oh oh oh, Mona Lisa
You're guaranteed to run this town
Whoa oh oh oh oh, Mona Lisa
I'd pay to see you frown
Mona Lisa, yeah
Pleased to please you
Mona Lisa
Say what you mean
Tell me I'm right
And let the sun rain down on me
Give me a sign
I want to believe
Whoa oh oh oh oh, Mona Lisa
You're guaranteed to run this town
Whoa oh oh oh oh, Mona Lisa
I'd pay to see you frown
Say what you mean
Tell me I'm right
And let the sun rain down on me
Give me a sign
I want to believe
There's nothing wrong with just a taste of what you've paid for
that raaange it's so beautiful
Epic performance.
Panic! At The Disco just got an upgrade! Love this ❤❤
I just love that small dance she does at 1:33
When are they gonna do kazoo kid?
Just saw her live in Portland. So much talent!!
*me making sure that the drummer has a left ear*
That’s the only one showing lol
I'm so glad for this cover I'm gonna try it myself. Beautiful voice you go girl!
I think I might even prefer van Gogh's drumming to his painting.
Awesome group!
Yeees! Panic and Hannah? Perfect!!
Yes! One of my absolute favorite guest singers you have!! Ahhh I can't get enough of your voice, Hannah.😭
Hannah, your voice sounds like what melted chocolate looks like... Sublime! I love you guys so much, argh!
genuinely awesome. Loved the young lady's tone and even her mannerisms. This cover had my full attention all the way through. Great performance
That lower range girl! Get some!! *claps*
