    Beware of the axle, wheel problems. If you on the road, you will never get it replaced without going to the factory. Beware. good luck

      @@texastotable - When you spoke about the window, mention that as they flip up and out, in light rain they keep the rain out of your camper. Sliding windows let the rain in, this is a big plus!

    • @texastotable
      @texastotable  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is a great point that we will emphasize in a future video. Having the windows open during a light rain storm in camp is so relaxing, especially when you don't have to worry about water getting into the coach.

    Do not get too excited I have a hq21 2021 noticed some roof bubbling and took it into the shop. Turns out solar pannels were installed incorrectly and leaked water. So now I am working with the Insruance company for a 10K service bill...

    • @texastotable
      @texastotable  ปีที่แล้ว

      Dang, that’s unfortunate. We’ve been so happy with ours and while I understand production mistakes happen, hopefully you’re able to get the bill picked up and your roof repaired so you can get out and enjoy your camper.

    Awesome review, thank you. Can you set up the bug screen BEFORE you open a window or must you do it after you open the window? I am the type of person that horribly attracts mosquitos.

    • @texastotable
      @texastotable  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching! The windows open outward with struts but we are actually out camping in Wyoming right now and the mosquitos at night are so bad. What we did was unlock the windows and raise the screens, then we went outside to life the windows and have a breeze through your the coach with no mosquitoes. That was the best way we found to not have them get inside while opening the windows

    We just purchased the same model, 2022. Bought it in San Bernardino California and drove it back to Missouri. I agree with all of your assessments and funny enough, I discovered a new drawer on the right side of the bed that opens that I wasn’t aware of. Also, the far cabinet in the head of ours does not open. Well, it doesn’t open without a lot of force. We assumed it didn’t open. I did want to ask if you find the Dometic refrigerator fan to be annoying running constantly. At night it sounds like you were constantly running a generator outside. It disturbs my peace ;-)

    • @mitchmullins7671
      @mitchmullins7671 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I forgot to mention we purchased a Ford F150 to pull it, power boost with built-in, 7.2 kW generator worked like a charm.

    • @texastotable
      @texastotable  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Congratulations & welcome to the Black Series family! We absolutely love ours and are currently planning our 2023 trips. The drawer was a nice surprise for us as well. Once you get into the coach and spend some time in it you find features that weren’t advertised. They did a really good job putting as much into these as they did. We didn’t notice the fan to be that loud but I’ll make a note to see how noticeable ours is next time I’m in it.

    • @texastotable
      @texastotable  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s great to know about the F150 towing it. We had a subscriber asking about his Raptor being capable of towing the HQ21 so I’ll direct him to this comment. The built-in generators seem like such a nice feature to have. One less thing to have to bring on boondocking trips

    Howdy! I notice ya'll work remotely from this trailer, I am a bit worried looking at the front seating area and table, since looks like would be tough to sit and have to lean over to table to use laptop, how do ya'll make that work and how do you work remotely from the trailer in general? It looks like the seating area of the 19 would be a little more conventional for a work place but it's hard to tell from photos, so I appreciate any info you can give, thanks!

    • @texastotable
      @texastotable  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there, thanks for watching! We both sit at the dinette and work from our laptops comfortably. The HQ19, with booth style seating, may be more conventional because of the seat style but we have more room and regularly have two laptops, phones, and multiple cameras/drone/etc on the table. For us, the additional space throughout the coach, particularly the dining area, are why we chose the HQ21 over the HQ19

    Any idea why ROA has stopped selling these, citing quality problems? They don't explain the specific problems, perhaps for liability reasons, but they have a long video explaining that they no longer sell Black Series because the quality of the newer units has declined significantly.

    First, your videos are the reason my husband and I are purchasing this awesome HQ21 - secondly for the life of me I cannot locate the dimensions for the cabinets in the dining. kitchen or bedroom? Is there anyway to get the height/width/depth of these cabinets? I am trying to figure out how to store some stuff before ours arrives?? Is there any help at all you can give me?? I would be soooo grateful! We will be living in this for a bit while deciding out next steps. thank you so much in advance - K

      They are pricey, however, we were able to secure a deal significantly lower than MSRP and knowing this will be the last rv we purchase for a long time, we saw it as an investment in our hunting & camping trips that we take all throughout the year. Thank you for watching!

      @@texastotable - Anywhere near the $45k the completion starts at? I ask because I’m considering the competition (Ember) due to the black series price.

    • @texastotable
      @texastotable  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can find the HQ19 at that price point. We really liked that floor plan and heavily considered it, however, we work remotely so the HQ21 gave us more room for those longer trips where we both need to dedicate time to working from the rv.

    • @Erin-Thor
      @Erin-Thor 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@texastotable - The table alone is one reason I’m considering it. I spend hours at the computer and a table that can be lowered an inch or so lower helps so much.

    • @texastotable
      @texastotable  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We ultimately found that the standard features of Black Series far surpassed any of the competitors. For us, dual axle was a must. 76gal of water allows us to boondock for extended periods, solar helps so much with not always needing to run the generator, and the overall build quality/fit & finish/quality control is unlike any other coach we’ve been in. If you end up going with the Black Series, you won’t be disappointed. Let us know if you have any questions we could help you with for your decision.

    • @texastotable

      The company has factories in Australia, China, and The United States. Short of an EarthRoamer, there's nothing on the market that meets our needs for camping and hunting trips better than the Black Series. Definitely not a van....
