I've been very busy over the past several months and I'm finally getting back into my watercolors. This is the one I did today... And is it bad that I paused the tutorial right when the greenery started and just winged it? 🤣 I personally love the way that it came out.

You can do it! You don't have to have fancy supplies to make nice art.
Love you guys. But was super bummed to find out I needed graphite paper for the project. I doesn’t mention that at all on the kit. In fact in step 1 it starts in saying “Start with the outline...”. So since I didn’t know I had to order it and hold off on doing my boots and duck Bummer! It would be nice if you just mentioned on the kit for first starters that you need brushes and graphite paper. 😊
Your subscription box should come with graphite paper. Check inside the envelope with the postcard. If you did not receive it please reach out and let us know and we will get some sent to you.
Micheal wanted to put flowers in the boots, you could paint either or both the Texas Bluebonnets or Indian Heads flowers

Do you draw with a regular pencil or a colored pencil? What brand of paper do you use?
Sarah uses graphite paper to transfer her images. If you are going to be painting over the drawing you may want to consider watercolor pencils so the lines will disappear. When using a graphite pencil make sure to keep your lines light as the watercolor is transparent. We paint on Canson 140lb paper.
I watched my first LMA tutorial before you started showing the paint color names printed on screen. I was thoroughly confused about what "Taco Blue" was named after.
That would be very confusing! So happy we could fix that for you.
