Thanks for sharing this review. I was looking at a new phone when I noticed the specs listed MediaTek which was unfamiliar to me. Now I'm hesitant to buy it. All my previous phones have had Qualcomm. I do a lot of multitasking so if I understood your review correctly, MediaTek will more than likely overheat and/or quickly drain the battery?
There are only few snap chipset which heats a lot , can be also used for multipurpose like toasting bread , ironing clothes , heating water. ,cooking eggs. Jokes apart those heating processors are snap 615 , snap 616 , snap 810 , these the the most heating chipset , then followed by 2nd group which heats up but okay they are snap 808 , snap 652, 650 , except these I dont Think any of the others heat up
In first I can't understood which is better, snapdragon.... Or mediate...But now I understand the simple relationship thank you for your explanations. All the best👌😇
I had 6 different phones from argos rangeing from the alba 5.7 which is the archos core 57s and the alcatel 3c and Bush b5 all kept crashing and freezing luckily argos were very good each time and replaced them for another phone I now have the honer 7a which is snapdragon so far so good the rest had mediatek never again
Nice video but the final statement of snapdragon being better for more money is misleading. What if I mean the SD200. What I would like to see is a list ordering for the processors for different applications. For snapdragon it is roughly 845>835>821>652>810>650>801>800>365>625>617>615>600>4xx>2xx and so on. Now this list is probably incorrect, but I know the 845 is at the top and the question is at which point, if any, is a 6xx truly better than an 8xx. MT also has many processors, some compare with the 8xx series and some with the 200, but I still cannot find a good list of their processors and definitely no good list comparing SD and MT processors together.
Good vid bro snapdragon is king always will be. I have only used devices with snapdragon samsung galaxy s7 edge to zte axon 7 etc but now I'm going to buy a umidigi z2 pro ( would still have my zte axon 7 but my cat dumped a litre of water on it while it was charging) the umidigi comes with a mediatek p60 which I heard is not as good as the snapdragon 685 my zte axon 7 ran I hope it's close cuz that chipset was amazing never lagged and kept my battery nice and cool ugh if only the features of the umidigi z2 pro could be found with a snapdragon offering full usa 4g lte in my budget that would be the phone for me but keep up the good work!
Don't buy umidigi, i bought a z pro and within a week the autofocus function camera was broken by itself, when i tried to contact them they never replied.
Mediatek new P series soc have been improving. The old 65 and 67 series was troublesome and based on outdated 28nm. Mediatek needs to use more A55 and A75 in its midrange SOC using 12nm process and move to quad core graphics or ARM G73/G76 cores
My Huawei Y6 Pro is Powered by MediaTek Helio A22 with PowerVR GE3000 GPU...I didnt felt any Lags when Playing Pubg (Medium With Very High Frame Rate), MLBB, ROS, MC 5, Asphault 8, Nova 3
This video is a bit out of date. For those of you buying a phone in 2019 both soc companies are comparable. For example, a helio p23 will out perform a snapdragon 625, but will not outperform the snapdragon 636. However, even though a Snapdragon 636 will outperform a helio p23 it cannot outperform a helio p60.. For the most part all phones are priced accordingly unless different factors such as a better camera or newer software can come into play which will either increase or decrease the value of a phone. My suggestion is to figure out what you want to do with your phone, look at benchmarks of processors that you're interested in that correlate with what you want to run, compare them with other processors within that price bracket, and purchase what you want. Both Xiaomi, and Umidigi are great companies that make phones using both Snapdragon, and Mediatek.
Perhaps it would be good to list usage Vs chipset. I'd say those who use a lot of media, games, camera, video to go for Snapdragon. For general communications usage of messaging, some TH-cam, more work related ... MediaTek should be fine with good battery capacity. At present, I'd prefer phone with minimum 4,000mah battery. No issues thus far.
If you think about it, if AMD never sold their mobile GPU division to Qualcomm and instead they built their own mobile processors since they also licensed ARM, wouldn't they also be as dominant as Qualcomm now? Qualcomm holds all the GPU patents AMD once owned since they bought the mobile division. That's why Adreno GPUs are great. And oh, Adreno is just an anagram for Radeon
Ultimately Snapdragon makes every body life easier with their cutting edge technology in terms of speed and GPU performance and better battery life. And Now a days mostly u don't see the heat on the phone..Latest technology taking care on that as well in SD..

I do a lot of multitasking so if I understood your review correctly, MediaTek will more than likely overheat and/or quickly drain the battery?
snapdragon makes my phone hot. doesn't happen with exynos. haven't used a mediatek phone before.
I have. It isn't that bad. My tablet has a mediatek and performs great. Able to play gta SA with no problems at all with maximum settings.
I cant believe that you are saying exynos is good because it is the worst processor on the entire earth
CJTubeZ u are talking to the wrong guy idiot
CJTubeZ yeah u can. We all have different TH-cam names, so u a re probably just blind

MT also has many processors, some compare with the 8xx series and some with the 200, but I still cannot find a good list of their processors and definitely no good list comparing SD and MT processors together.
not all mediatek are lagging when you pla like my realme 3
thank you very much💙
Glad you found our video useful. Thank you for watching...
@@TechTators thank you for reply my comment and i really like how you explain them you the best channale keep continue with great work.
Skip 3:42 save you more time.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
but im using xiaomi redmi 6a on mediatek its works well & doesn't have heating issues!
Haha hey its 2020 this video has to be updated for the upcoming release of REALME 6
Don't buy umidigi, i bought a z pro and within a week the autofocus function camera was broken by itself, when i tried to contact them they never replied.
mallo88mi dude it depends of the price and the quality of the phone
Mediatek new P series soc have been improving. The old 65 and 67 series was troublesome and based on outdated 28nm. Mediatek needs to use more A55 and A75 in its midrange SOC using 12nm process and move to quad core graphics or ARM G73/G76 cores
And Also A22's....
My Huawei Y6 Pro is Powered by MediaTek Helio A22 with PowerVR GE3000 GPU...I didnt felt any Lags when Playing Pubg (Medium With Very High Frame Rate), MLBB, ROS, MC 5, Asphault 8, Nova 3
P series more like potato series
Can you tell realme narzo 20 pro is better or Motorola one fusion plus is better
Lol. In xiaomi almost all. 2018 phones are all snapdragon and d prices is too. Low
Midiatek?
Snapdragon?
Ill just choose that phone on that intro
Mediatek is also best
But, Snapdragon is Legend👑
Snapdragon=1.30GHz
Mediatek=1.51GHz
But for me best for performance and less heating Snapdragon but my phone have a mediatek :D so lag
I've use mediatek, kirin, qualcomm and snapdragon with my one phone only
Watching this via Qualcomm. Snapdragon 710 😁😁😁
which is better performance sd 720g or mediatek helio g95?? suggest
Snapdragon 712 of Mediatek helio p70?
Kirin 810
Ultimately Snapdragon makes every body life easier with their cutting edge technology in terms of speed and GPU performance and better battery life. And Now a days mostly u don't see the heat on the phone..Latest technology taking care on that as well in SD..
Good video I've chosen the p8 lite over the moto G5 Thanks I couldn't decide before
Glad we could help
Redmi y2 and realme 1 which is best please help to use fone for two to three years
Snapdragon anyday
Intel = Mediatek
AMD Ryzen = Snapdragon
