This is an experimental versions of VLC that are daily generated from the VLC code that is currently in development.Several issues that existed in previous versions of VLC might be fixed here, but since this version of VLC is not yet finished, you should expect other problems and issues.

Absolute splendid tutorial. I recently tried newer builds, and i wasn't able to get to dark mode with these ones. It just refused to work. We do not need to talk about VLC Skins, lel :D. I never thought of using an older build. You are an Eye saver. After 2 decades of using, i finally get rid of that VLC eyeburn :'D I can't wait for an official stable build! Thanks man! I want the vanilla interface on VLC, but just black, not the new UI, not a skin, just the normal windows UI but black, all buttons in the same place. Sad that Linux and Mac get vanilla dark mode, and windows does not.

Thanks for this info, but should I download March 1, 2023 build for the most stable build as you stated or is it safe to go with March 4, 2024 (latest build)?
Well i haven't tested every single version obviously but that one i tested in the video is one out of a couple that i have tried and is the most stable out of all of them, you could try that 2024 one and see how it goes if you like.
This is the best thing! but there is one problem, sometimes when I pause, the time slider gets lost, I can't rewind it because I can't see the stop point, all the time is orange. I will try to download the new version, I hope it has been fixed, the old one from the beginning of March
Yeah just try different ones until you find one that works well
can you suggest a stable version date I downloaded the latest one it pauses for a minute whenever i jump to a video duration.

It's a false positive, you can exclude it from scans or disabled realtime protection from defender.

yeah a lot of them are not stable but you can find ones that work well
