Tomoca was one of my first ml 5* when I started playing the game, so she always had a special place in my heart. I'm really happy to see she's being changed to be more viable, hopefully I can start using her more now Thanks for this videos explaining the balance adjustments, it really helps me to understand all this changes and why they are being made since I'm not really good at this types of games and I mostly play for fun so I'm not familiar with things related with pvp. With F. Kluri S1 will reduce fighting spirit, in case we fight against Lermia, we can hit her once with S1 then after Lermia passive proc she will not able to do S3 . She's fast and has single target decreased def+provoke+strip in her S3, so with fighting spirit reduction only, she will gain more value in current meta.
I like the Tomoca change,, but that speed can be insane, also she dont have to run under some moon bunny, play around now. The barrier still help if nothing punish her, set up for free, get your way to Soul burn if possible, choose your opponent, and push with style. Will depend on her Soul burn Multiplier The Fluri Resource reduction is very underated, but it's not insane level, this can backfire from Ayufine, but she lose half or nothing in exchange. Idn about how LQC will work, if she extinct a dark unit, can she extinct by AoE? Scary for Revivers like Mercedes or Arby also RRoana will gain more from Extra turn unit under Ayufine or Politis, not both at same time, 1 strip is great, scary for immunity. The mage change is insane, it's to a great start. Rage double effect is great, and victory flag is a good change. Overall, this sould be a fun balance patch, idn who will be the winner. If i have to garented a winner, it would be LQC, but Tomoca is now in a spot when she could be great on a Spot no one can be, if her Speed is well tuned and do her job before the opponent play, and we know how Zio is great ^^ (I just pull Ml Choux today, 10 pull needed, when i cant even pull Zio from his banner xD )
Eyy congrats on the pull! Love your thoughts on each unit too, they were very insightful. I think Tomoca will be the biggest winner on paper, but LQC or F.Kluri might secretly become the winner in practice. Kinda like how Spez took everyone by surprise last time!
if it wasn't my absolute love for Lermia and Mellona, Tomoca would've been my ML5 selector event choice because i love her animations, her voice lines, even her outfit (how fitting for a model). if there is an RNG lord out there, sliding a 20 under your door... pls, just one Tomoca...
I def think SG's balancing is a bit underappreciated. People seem to believe that unless changes force units into meta relevancy, it is not good, but ultimately many changes, even sutble, usually end up changing the unit from unplayable to decent.
I agree. I've always been a fan of smaller changes to units that are borderline usable over a massive overhaul of a unit's kit to force them into relevancy. They tend to withstand the test of time better too.
as a person who has a 127k cp Clarissa I will tell you this is a BIG W for her! The s3 reset is so amazing, but the rage buff!!! Clarissa has rage on her s3... so if you one shot at least one trash in wyvern, she can s3 next turn WITH rage can't wait for wyvern and other pve to go faster!!!
Overall great patch, im a little worried roana might be a bit too toxic tho, with that strip on s3... But the funniest part of this patch will surely be the amount of people whose banshee OS just got ruined by vivian speed tuning lmfao
I wouldn't say they're ruined. That's like saying Elvira ruined Lionheart and Mellona. They're still viable, you just have to be wary of the counterpick.
As someone who pulled 3 tomoca (why SG!!) from mystic, galaxy and covenant. Im not happy with those buffs at all. One more aggro enabler from the opponent for me to watch out for 😅
Just remember that Hwa has a 30% crit reduction. So Victorious Flag mitigation will not affect Hwa because her s2 damage reduction is greater than artifact provides.
I don't get much free time to play the game outside of recording RTA. I've beaten Zio, but I haven't done any of the tedious quests to unlock her specialty changes.

100% agreed. i'm very happy with the new luluca! i've always loved her but having to rely on that extra turn has been a real issue
