Glad to hear that. I hate when people want to charge an arm and a leg for something sp basic. I think they where probably going to change out the cable because I don't think the dealership sales the bushing by itself.

Dirty Dude: Thanks for making the video! John Smith, your Dorman 14055 recommendation was a life saver for me!
I bought the Dorman 14055 (package says it fits GM vehicles only but don't worry about that) at Advance Auto Parts today. I have an Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone and O'Reillys within one mile of my house and all were close on price ($12-$16).
There are two pieces in the package, a clear one and a white one. I used the clear one. I ran 6 ounces of hot water out of my Keurig coffee maker into a coffee cup, dropped the clear piece into the water and walked to the truck. One minute later, I used a spoon to get the clear part out of the hot water and it was soft like rubber and pushed right into the cable end. I put a dab of grease on the metal post and pushed the cable end onto the post, tugged on it to be sure it snapped over the retaining ridge and it was solid. Road tested and I am back in business in minutes instead of days!

In order for your shifter to go all the way to the manual gears you gotta push the manual button on the shifter

This was a great video. So thanks for taking the time to make it.
But for those who can't wait for the part from Amazon, your local auto parts store has a bushing that will work just as well.
Dorman part number 14055. I got mine at Oriellys for 11.00. Took me about 10 minutes to remove the panels. 2 Phillips screws for the trim, 4 10mm bolts for the metal plate. Press in the bushing in with your hand. Then press onto shaft. Easy peasy.
BTW.... dealer doesn't sell just the bushing. Cable and bushing as one price. 134.00. What a rip!
