So sweet of Queenie to bring you around Bedok. There are still quite a fair bit that you have not seen. Hope you will have more time the next time to explore the neighbourhood shops, there are a few kopitiam nearby, Bedok point and the heartbeat.

Love Queenie so kind being tour guide. Ghib you're so Singaporean already. So nice seeing Ghib with local . During Tsunami in Japan, our SG Team provide temporary shelter and food such Laksa and Chicken Rice to local .

Welcome to Bedok!!! Tons of good hawker food and stalls here 😋
5:40 yes that’s Heartbeat@Bedok where there’s a library, polyclinic, ActiveSG, retail and eateries etc all under one roof.

From the business perspective, one of the reasons for hanging the Chicken after it's meat has been sold is to show customers it's popularity of it's Chicken Rice which will encourage more customers to patronise it's stall. Not just to boil soup for the next day. It's a selling point. It has been going on for at least the past 30 years. You can confirm that by asking some seniors. I was told by someone who worked at a chicken rice stall many years ago.

The Bedok hawker centre paled in comparison to fengshan hawker centre. Nonetheless the fried Hokkien mee next to the satay store is famous too. As well as the mala store and the fish soup store, the fried chicken wings as well.

The fortune thingy are written on a very general basis. There were many people born in that year and at different times. So ya, don't take it so hard on yourself. To achieve success, other than luck, most still depends on yourself. I read & forget. Look for more good food!
    Can try Lorong Ah Soo.
