if you do keep the bike dont bother with a power commander just get the ecu flashed, you will get better gains. We all feel your pain as im sure we all had bikes we wish we didnt sell. Keep up the good work
Idk about anyone else. But I personally like 600’s more than 1000’s. This particular model that I own is reliable, sounds amazing, super nimble, and is a beast when handled properly. After all, it’s a ninja 🥷 😈
I lost my 2002 ZX-6 in 2016 that I had owned since 2012 and I haven't owned anything until July of this year. I bought a 2008 Kawasaki ZZR 600 which is very close to what I had. I picked it up on July 15 & it took me 50 day's to do the refresh from that day. So glad to have a 600cc again! Mine has the full D&D race exhaust from fort worth, texas on it. Sound's really good now that I completely rebuilt the carb's and color tuned them with a motion pro sync tool my brother had. Anyway I totally understand not wanting to sell it, not fun!
@@taylorjhaug cam chain tensioner. Theres a video of a guy showing a cheap fix but it’s also risky. The tensioner doesn’t always auto adjust when it needs to and leaves too much slack in the timing chain causing it to slap around.

Have you had any issues with your cam chain tensioner, if so could you describe them as I just bought an 07 and I think that is it’s issue

I’ve got a manual one on my 07 and I’m about to hit 50k miles and I’ve never had to adjust it. I’ve had it since 8k something miles
The CCT sounds like it needs to be reset alot of the 07 and 08 have that same timing chain tick from Kawasakis bad design…
