Okay the big question now is fuel consumption, did you do any figures on this? How does it compare to Diesel fuel consumption? I had a V6 hilux years ago and I needed to tow a mini tanker behind it to feed the sucker!
@@djm8027 Ouch that’s similar to my old 100 series diesel cruiser with a caravan behind it. Thanks for the info, might be keeping the old Arok 420 a bit longer at just a shade over 8 litres per 100km
Hey lads, love your work, at 8:01ish you mention that it doesn't have wireless apple carplay. Was that not an option in this particular car for some reason? I was of the understanding that they did have it?. For what it's worth, and I see someone else mentioned it below, but I saw another review that covered this exact vehicle from another outfit (not the one quoted) and they also mentioned a driveline vibration too (around 50-60km+).
Funny that this Amarok also has that build defect with the glove box exactly like your other review. Big no no from such a pricey car, how does that get through production?
I'm watching it anyway bc it's CarSauce, why wouldn't I... But you didn't think to wait a couple more weeks b4 releasing this??? It feels like you reviewed the other Amarok like a week ago
Matt, you reviewed exactly the same car as CarAdvice (same rego plate) and yet you did not mention any drivetrain vibrations at 60km/h? It’s the same issue that is starting to be reported by new owners. Wondering why you say nothing about it???
Do you think they would really give me a press car that they knew was faulty? I haven’t seen whatever video you are mentioning, but I suspect they would have fixed it as there was clearly no vibrations in this video or week I had it. Wondering why you are questioning my integrity when we we pointed out the flaws of the other Amarok we had?
I would argue the Ranger is still the better ute although these Amaroks are the better cars, if that makes sense... Would love to see these Amaroks design compared with the holden Colorados. The resemblance is uncanny

Adventure model with low profile tires ? Adventuring malls?
Aventura not Adventure

Fuel consumption figures please, really important when comparing petrol and diesel utes. Otherwise great review thanks.
A real Mustang engine would be a 5.0 liter V8. That will make it smoke the competition
Litre. Just sayin 😬
They are not telling any truth on thus car, and they are avoiding comparing to the previous generation by all means
"as you can see by my portly body lying inside of this cab it can take a lot of weight."
I felt that.

Read a review that saw an average of 17 litre per 100

I own a VW petrol average is 12.2 mixed driving. Towing 2T about 13.5/14

This model does have wireless CarPlay and AA, I think they just misspoke

Best looking Ute
Looks fantastic, I'd definitely love one. Good honest review-though perhaps a tad picky, you fussy '1st World Dudes" 😲
Wow sounds fun to drive, are you guys also gonna test the panamaricana?
Nice to look at, but thirty? Nicer materials inside, but ergonomics not done as well as the Ranger. Would be nice if you could combine the two.
The manual buttons on the side of the gear lever are just a bad design idea.. And not having puddle shifts is just silly..
I want it with a orange colour from the Wildtrak
Why ford engines in a VW, vw has the best engines ever in all motor mobile

☹️ almost a month ago now! But it is very different 😄
Please show me where you can get one of these for $80K, dealers are charging way above this.
Its $80k plus on road costs which is different based on which state you are in.
"Heeyy Jacob."
Eargasms.
That ford motor was a stinker on reliability for a long time hope they fixed by now .

The vibrations are noticeable between 60 to 80kms on smooth roads. Harmonics? Maybe if you tested it on country roads only that may have masked it?
@@littswood Mat had it for a week so I think it must have been fixed mate.
Would you know what brand monotube shocks they used in this model Mat?
It’s OEM I believe

This is gonna be a fuel guzzler compared to GWM & Ford Platinum.
Wait---you're telling me--a self-absorbed Yank--that the VW Amarok Aventura has a Mustang EcoBoost 2.3L I-4 in it? Really??
When Mercedes Benz did this it bombed big time.

Still waiting for the Platinum…
