I would like see clearly the start stop button illumination or blinking in different scenario's. (ex: Blinking A (slow) and Blinking B (fast) and ON with delay) 2. answer back for Smart entry and keyless entry (ex: flash light is on for smart unlock and lock the door) 3. Remote engine start answerback to the user by flashing 4. walk away close answer back alert 5. PCU buzzer sound in different scenario's (ex: Transponder search is started and Transponder search is successful finished and Gear lever is other than P-position at IG OFF and Driver door open when IG ON) 6. warning messages to the user on dashboard in different scenario's (ex: indicate 10sec wait for SSSW after BACKUP key authentication. and displaying a guidance for shifting the gear lever into P position and inhibit the meter from displaying messages during ACC). 7. not p alert on dashboard.
I got this installed in my 2001 tahoe but the dude that installed it did it wrong Ig Cz the remote start doesn’t work it does that thing u explained and I also have to use the key to unlock the shifter so no point in the button what do I do to stop having to use the key to unlock the shifter

I found one very similar KPE I didn’t buy the same one like yours (your fob looks like a Honda mine doesn’t). I’m trying to retrofit my KPE fob into Honda 2012 oem fob.
I had the EC003 installed by a professional but the remote start shuts off after about 30 seconds each time. whether i get in and put my foot on the break or stay outside. the car seems to keep switching from acc to on and then shuts off in about 30 seconds. Any reason you can think why this is happening? all the other features work fine except this one. thank you

They all look a like. And make sure you ask seller to see the manual. Some only work with older cars and transponder chip car.

Do you think this is doable with a 2011 hyundai genesis coupe 2.0T? I just bought one and was told before seeing the car it was the premium trim model but it wasn't. I still bought it because it wasn't a deal breaker but I really want the push to start now. Any knowledge of people doing this in a genesis coupe?
Why didn't you take out the ignition cylinder, It would look allot better, the push button would be where you put the key no drilling that looks shabby !
I was pleased with it! I was in high school when I did all this too lol. I actually didn’t like the idea of the push button being over there. It didn’t look good to me, and I left the ignition in case if the button stopped working as a failsafe
G'day Bern, I have a question, what happens with the original factory key once you've installed the wireless system and can you still use it if you wanted? Also do I have to break the key in the ignition cylinder to bypass chip in my key? Or is there another way? Sorry I can't find any other info on this anywhere so I would appreciate it if U could clear it up for me. Cheers 😁
So you can choose to keep the ignition uncovered and have the car work like a Honda S2000, putting the key in accessory mode and then pushing the start button. I wouldn’t say you have to break the key, I just got a blank from ebay and had it cut, and then I just trimmed it down so just the nub was in the ignition, but I could still take it out if needed. I also glued the chip from one of my fobs to the ignition, that was a high schoolers way of doing it haha. I’d probably get an immobilizer if I did it again though

Hi Bern, a little off topic...how is the LED strips holding out on the headlight. I heard they burn out prematurely. Did you wire in a capacitor? What voltage?

great vid bro so you for remote start how did you tap into the fuel pump and constant 12v? did you tap the push start into the fuel pump?

since you left part of the key in the ignition, doesn’t that drain your battery faster ?
I unplugged the connector to the ignition so all it does is unlock the column! But doesn't control anything else

The only problem I had was every once in a while, the immobilizer wouldn’t recognize the chip so the car wouldn’t start the first time
What size rims are you running? And are you running suspension? Asking because i’m unsure how 17x7.5’s would look on my 7th gen
These are the 19’s from the 10th Gen Accord. Stock suspension for now.

Hmm. May be your immobilizer messing with the system

The push to start kit replaces where your key goes, so unless you plan on getting creative, probably not

Yea it’ll just keep trying to start, but the immobilizer will keep it from turning over

How did you disable the OEM alarm? Does the PKE unit work with the Honda alarm?
The OEM alarm is just left “unlocked” with the factory remote

@@demetriosbaroutis6727 nope because at least in my case, the ignition wires were unplugged, so the key just prevents the wheel from locking
