In this video, I'll show you how to quickly create a handwriting effect in After Effects.
This technique is not as good as using the Pen Tool, but if you want a quick way to animate handwriting, and the animation is fast enough, the result looks good.
thank you so so much for saving me drawing each letter from pen tool this saved my time
Nice! First time I’ve see a way without the pen tool 🙌🏻
I want my text to be another other than white but it doesn't let me change the colors no matter what I do. How do you change the color?
THISSS
struggling with the same thing
saame
apply a "Change to Color" effect & presets, and set change property to Hue, Lightness & Saturation
and choose the color you want to replace..
it works for me
@@damngravityfpv5009 THANK YOU
Is there a way to stop the masks from cancelling themselves out when they overlap? I'm using this technique on a script font and its pretty time consuming to go in and adjust the paths for each letter.
how to change color of this text mask
Try Shift + com +Y
This is very helpful, we need more tutorials like this
Can we change the text colour?
THISS
i have motion tracked text, is it possible to apply this effect to tracked text? is it possible to replace the effected mask to a tracked element? :creating a mask from text removes my track from the text. would love to know how to apply this while keeping tracked position, or how to replace effected text to a tracked position. thanks
@adobetipstricks8569
Is there a way to make it from right to left as well?
if i want the stroke sequentially move from RIGHT TO LEFT for hebrew letters what should i do?
You fucking genius
When I click create mask from text, all the letters are squeezed tightly together. Then, when generate stroke, it generate a stroke of equal width, and does follow the original font at all.
What would I do without you 🎉
THANKS MAN, this is what I was looking for
Thank You verry mush
This was a perfect solution when you don't need the Hollywood perfection. I had enlarged the first letter of the two words I have (Thank You! are the words). Much thicker than the rest. What I ended up doing is duplicating "The" and making the mask for "he" 0%. Then reversed to show "he". You can do this before making the masks too. Anyway, doing it this way allows you to use a thicker stroke for the fatter letters and thinner for the smaller letters. Looks great. Just soften the stroke a bit.
thank you so much ps love your accent
much smart u r👍🏻
Perfect, thank you!
what is the font
Amazing tutorial sir.
