When I was small, my father would sing this every afternoon. All the children would join in. Two young ladies were Audra Welch and Rachel Grantham. My daddy would whistle the chorus. We could feel Jesus with us.
this is a beautiful song i had not heard it since i was a little girl... my mom would sing this song as she worked around the house and yard... THANK YOU for sharing!!!!!!!!!
Utterly genuine - no contriving Such devotion to Jesus, in the Holy Spirit! I find presence of national and other flag in the sanctuary anomalous for the Anabaptist heritage, and these people by their long history of “insofar as depending upon” them “living at peace with all” have nothing to prove for the rest of us of what sometimes passes for love of country and good citizenship.
I find no need to choose one style of Christian music over another. I like the hymns that have been sung in the Baptist church for hundreds of years, southern gospel, some contemporary gospel, Mennonite and Amish (if in a language I know).
Some good singing Everett, good to hear other believers close to home !
This is soul-moving music! What a great hymn

Liricks to when burdens seem so hard
Ben Speer wrote it.
Actually the words and music to this song were written by C. S. Grogan.
