To use sand pegs with this awning you would need to do the following. 1. make a custom peg to fit the bottom of the feet. 2. use sand pegs and a guy rope and peg off the top of each hole (this would be the preferred method, and would work just like pegging down a standard tarp).

Just bought one of these, was on the fence vs a 'self-supporting' 270 awning. Do you think you'd prefer something like the alucab?
In some ways yes because of the self supporting but that has negatives as well. In the end I am happy with what I got for under $700
@@LandySmurf That's where I'm at.... nabbed it for $700CDN and seems like most self-supporting units are $1500USD+++
@@zipdoa it is like with most purchases it comes down to value for money and that is where I think this awning wins.
