Perry's Series 2A Gunbuggy
มุมมอง 444หลายเดือนก่อน
This is Perry's Series 2A Gunbuugy. It went to Vietnam during the war. He will be using it in 2024 ANZAC Day service alongside another Series 2A Gunbuugy. I apologise for the music but unfortunately the wind noise made the audio painful.
THE MOST EPIC ULTIMATE GAME CHANGER TRIP- YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS!! DO I MAKE IT OUT!! #CLICKBAIT

Please note this has nothing to do with Land Rovers. This is not for kids. Plenty of swearing. This is targeted at the Legends/Buckaroonie community. Please do not take offence, and if you find something offensive that directly relates to you, politely let me know. I naturally have a higher voice but it is even higher in this video due to cancelling out the wind noise has a trade off. Sit back ...

Very relaxing watching water flowing over rocks, we’ve had some decent rain here in wa the past week for the start of winter, been dry for months over here, don’t forget your gumboots going outside
Glad you enjoyed it. There is something about moving water weather it is a creek or the ocean that is calming
Hands up those who had to go to the loo part way through! 🙈😂🙏🦘
lol, I was thinking this when putting it together, it was my aim that it would get someone hehe
Love the aerial footage Nice work 👌🏻
Thanks Mark
Awesome video Landy 👍
Thanks, it was a bit deep crossing the gullies to get there
Lucky the jazz is purpose built mate 🛻
Great editing @@LandySmurf

I mean, those things have tusks, right?
@@raymondstrunk4770 as far as I am aware the males do and females don't. This one didn't
Damn where's the kapow?
Tag, you're it! 😂

If only I could catch it
My favourite out of all Dad's Landys

Good video Landy can’t wait to see more of it.
Cheers Roachy. I will start on the next one throughout the week. I have 3 already in the pipeline.
Very cool vehicle and great vid thanks Landy. Looking forward to the others 👍
@@markolav70 thanks for watching and commenting.
Afternoon all. Yep insurance. I’ve been putting excess up to lower premium
Bought a 1971 2a shortwheel base pick up in 201 for fourhundred pounds fitted parabolic springs gas shocks stainless steel exhaust sorted the head inlet manifold electronic ignition a isolator alaminion door tops use for logging shooting dear stalking etc. no road tax or. MOT 100 pounds per year insurance 👍
Mechanical fuel pump?
Mate it's full time 4x4 forwards, if you reverse up hill its only 2 wheel drive, you pull the ring to lock front and rear so you can reverse up hill or down in 4x4.
Is it possible to build one of these from collected spares?
I don't see why not. You can buy all the parts for them
Loved it mate 😂😂😂
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.
Hi Landy. Just watched and subscribed today mate. You’ve got a great channel 🍺
Thank you very much for subscribing and the positive feedback. I am hoping to get back into doing videos soon.
Well done Landy - piss funny

Cheers Buck. Thanks for watching and your feedback.
If you could show Slacking the mentos scene that would be great, so he knows I have used them.
Mr Buckeroonie has got some competition 😂 You're a funny bugger 👍 Love the new 4x4 Honda.
Lol, No one has anything on Buck, but he does give some good inspiration. I might enter the honda in next years Dakar rally
You're a crack up Landy, looking forward to catching up again at the Legends camp.
Thanks Robyn. I can't wait. It will without a doubt be the highlight of the year.
Russell coight lol good 1 mate
He is one of my fav aussies of all time. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. Bring on the Camp Fire in August
Enjoyed. Well done landy
Thanks for joining in and commenting. It is people like you that make this world a better place.
Well done mate a lot of work has gone in to entertaining us with genuine humour. Much appreciated. Thanks very much we all need a good laugh sometimes😂
Thanks for the feedback Steve. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch. All the best
Fantastic clip Landy Smurf loved it.
Thanks Annie, I think at the camp up event I will stick to the rum though rather than the VB
Very nice old buggy! I have a 1966 , 88”. They are perfect in their simplicity! This video is a year old as I watch it. Hopefully you kept the original engine, and just rebuilt it. So many people do upgrades and change things, which is fine, but to keep the original motor just seem right. New sub here. Cool channel.
Thank you very much for taking the time to watch it. I am still trying to find someone to rebuild the motor. Thanks for the feedback.
Is there an episode four for this vehicle ?
There will be one day. I have been busy with a few other land Rovers. I am currently deciding whether to continue with this or the forward control
Landy,bravo. insane, =))
Thanks for joining in for a fun night.
Engine knocking/tapping and excessively smoking. Looks like you are driving through a denuded moonscape of cleared and degraded Australian farm land. Pretty sad what we do to the country.
Great video clearly showing fix
Nice one, the clip at 11:40 was captured perfectly!
*promo sm*
hi motor sounds like it has a worn cam shaft nice old 80 thanks
Could be. Trying to find someone who can do an overhaul on it.
Glad to see you posting videos again mate. How are you finding the stage 1 in comparison to the perentie? I have a perentie at the moment, but I will be selling it soon. I'm currently looking at a 4BD1 stage 1 to replace it with which looks exactly like yours.
Thanks. They are very similar. Pros and cons both ways. They obviously drive very similarly. Perentie was great for the front disc brakes and coils. I also liked that it didn't matter if I made a modification or got a scratch on the perentie. I love the 5 doors for access on the stage 1. I personally have no preference between the two as I do t do hard offroading. I guess parts and getting people to work on a perentie is easier.
@@LandySmurf Cheers mate. Do you find there is a huge difference between ride quality in terms of suspension? I've heard the leaf sprung set up on these makes it hard to daily one, but I'm not sure it would actually be quite that bad. I used to have a short wheelbase land cruiser on leafs and it was more than fine.
@@mccoll20416 I find the ride okay. Not as good as coils but still good. My SWB rides rougher though.
@@LandySmurf Cheers, much appreciated. Keen to see some more vids with the stage 1!
@@mccoll20416 no worries. It is on the hoist at the moment as I need to do the drivers side front end.
I am wanting to do this with mine . Wish I had a way to chat to you about it . God Bless
If you would like I could set up a Zoom call with you and comment the invite link on here.
@@LandySmurf That would be great have to organise a time . Thank you
@@violetadams9253 maybe after the October long weekend.
@@LandySmurf Have you done the power steering conversion? I mean .
Oh I never said like to Thank you cause it was because of this video I found out it was possible to fit the canopy without removing the ROPS so cheers for that , 👍 God Bless
Well done Landy looks like a great place to go through thanks for sharing can’t wait for the next episode 👍
Thanks Terry. I will probably be having a bit of a break before I get into the next few.
It’s been such a long time since I’ve been up that way might have to venture back up there one day. do you know any of the property owners up there to get some access ? Or is it still public road I noticed you opened gates ?
There are some that are public access. I doubt property owners will let anyone onto their property du to insurance. I was going through properties but I believe it to be a public road. But it did seem very much like I was going through people's properties. I would look at doing Carter's trail(can't remember the exact name) next time which joins upper rouchel to Stewart's Brook and then into the dingo/dog gate.
@@LandySmurf yeah ok I heard that carters trail had been closed a few years ago but I could be wrong I haven’t been up there for years.
Great clip Landy, I’m going to go and season my camp ovens now again it’s been a while.
Glad you got something out of it. It is easiest to do over the fire but you can do it in an oven or hooded BBQ
Yeah I’m going to do mine this weekend over a fire I think
@@deanroach_Roachy awesome let me know how you go
I must have been living in a cave Landy because I had no idea you had a TH-cam channel, anyway better late than never
Lol, I only just started doing videos again. After a long break
