I love a thematic Army Card. I also very much enjoy how they can change up how the game is played. Repositioning foes can really help break up armies that are good at turtling, and the way they break up that game style is not game breaking in itself. Some games really start to get unbalanced as the game designers try to add in new things to combat strong strategies. They can easily take it to the extreme on the other side of the spectrum. Wraitheriders are another great example of an easy but effect design that Heroscape normally captures so well.
These guys are a solid B+. I think a lot of their power will be in bonding with Iron Lich. When used with him, they move up to an A. Being able to get +2 attack and +2 move will be good for engaging and damaging enemy units. And also pulling them off Iron Lich as he move into range will be good aswell. Iron Lich, Wraithriders, and Hellforge seem like a solid build.
The Iron Clad Collective and Clockwork Combine were my favorite factions from the Haslab so I'm very excited to get these guys. I preordered directly from Renegade during the Renegade Con when these were announced so probably going to arrive sometime this week.
That would be amazing. It has been a long time since I read Thormun's Journal. I think a big problem is, a lot of the lore is hidden or hard to find. You have the Thormun's Journals, which has about.... 50 entries. And then the rest of the lore comes from either the Rule Books and Scenarios or now lost threads from Heroscapers with the redesign. And then with D&D Scape, there was no lore given aside from Vydar turning on the Allied Generals. But I'd love lore videos. I love the lore of heroscape and would love to see so much more of it. I know there is supposed to be a new set of journal entries by Sonlen, but I have no idea where to find them.
I think A- is a fitting rating for this cool squad. Pre-ordered all 3 of the April release army expansions to secure the promo figure. Of course used the affiliate link. Still on the fence on all of the terrain expansions, not bad value, just don't really need them at this point.
About to do my first hs tournament Sunday but it’s contemporary format for 350 points was thinking about bringing these guys and iron Lich but I’m super confused on what to fill out the last 110 points on any suggestions would be awesome

The Wraithriders have some of the most solid sculpts out of all the new releases, second only to the Knaves in my opinion.

I like these videos. But it would be cool if you could do organized to lore videos. There are surprisingly not many out there.

Im excited for these guys, gonna pick them up this weekend if i can
I'm torn between A- and B+. I agree tho, very strong offensive squad for the points. Great for wrangling krav and raelin as well.
I can't wait for mine to ship. I saw you playing with them, and it looks good
Lets go!
2 life squads were pretty common in AOTP

@@cameronpanten6876 that’s kind of an awkward point total. Maybe just Irene?
