Been playing the game off and on with friends since classic Heroscape hit Walmart shelves back in the day, and now one of those friends started up a game store and I'll be playing in my first Heroscape tournament there! I just started following your youtube channel, but I used to be very active on Heroscapers and I remember you. Originally I was trying to get out of Heroscape and the last few years I was actively trying to sell my terrain pieces because they were beginning to break down and I was moving. But there is just no easy way to get rid of so much terrain. I don't have nearly has much as other people. A tote of terrain and another tote full of castle and road pieces. I honestly was thinking about selling my heroscape figures a week ago, but then i learned that Heroscape was coming back after the failed restarter.... at first I was still iffy, but I have become really excited to start collecting heroscape again... I think it has been 20 years since I bought my first set so long ago in 2006. It was the Hero Set of Wave 4. I found them at a Wal-Mart during a Soft Ball Tournament for my sister and since that time I collected every set except for some of the promos. It is a lot more now and seems like it is going to be a limited stock and harder to get. But I hope I am once again able to get every set.... but first.... I need to get bigger totes and find a way to store my terrain lol.
Really enjoying your channel, always positive and enthusiastic, which I am sure is helping Renegades relaunch of the game gaining more attention from both old and new players. Well done Sir!
I have a video format suggestion. I think it would be cool if you could do some videos looking at a specific “cookie cutter” army type and talk through the units, the strategy, maybe some army list options, etc. Seeing a breakdown of how people are constructing and using frostclaw armies, pirate armies, ironclad armies, as well as classic armies like glads/blasts, knights, Romans would be helpful for new and returning players. It would be interesting if you highlighted new lists that account for the cost adjustments as well for the classic armies.
