5:59 Very nice panoramic shots of the Adirondacks from above. After seeing this, we also love the Adirondacks for crying out loud! How can you not! Can't believe this is not actually a national park. This is up there with the national parks in California and Oregon.
The Adirondacks are underated. It's the largest piece of protected land in the US yet barely anyone outside of NY knows about it. It's basically the Smokey Mountains x10.
Pottery is very cool I did it all throughout high school. And later got a kick wheel and a kiln. And did some pottery .my sister just came yesterday and took a piece of pottery back with her.
Those are mostly people coming up from NYC area that camp at the "resort" camp grounds in lake George. They visit all the attractions the area has to offer wile camping. The Christmas decorations and lights are for the annual Christmas in July contest the park runs each year . each camp site puts up a diplay of lights and decorations and the best one wins prizes. That place is a blast!
I subscribed to your channel after watching the first video. You two are awesome. No how to instruction, which are great when you need them but yours allow us to share the rv and camping experience. Keep enjoying your retirement and sharing your travels with us.
If you get back to NY and are in the Southern Tier and need a place to park for the night, look us up. We would be happy to have you! We have camped the Adirondacks for 20+ years. Fall camping there is the best!
Great Job! We really enjoy your photography, the commentary and editing. This is award winning work! Bo is a superstar - he seemed to greatly enjoy the boat ride. I camped at Fish Creek as a young boy with my parents and remember running down to the lake as soon as I could to start my fishing adventure. Thx!
I can’t even tell you how much I appreciate and enjoyed this video! I love how you mixed it up with a lot of diff things going on. I especially like Jennifer cooking! That meal looked so easy and healthy and delish! Oh yeah, I’m trying that on our next trip out in our brand new 2020 Tiffin Wayfarer TW.. Thank you both for sharing your great travels and finds with us, and Jennifer please include more simple but healthy cooking on the road, you really know how to simplify! I’ll be watching this video several times over! 😂👍 Always wishing you both safe and happy travels...
This is where we live and work in our RV. We are currently in the Lake District, but our next job is back in the high peaks. While you are in NY, don't miss the Thousand Islands and the bays on the eastern end of Lake Ontario. Some of the most beautiful places in the world.
Thanks for another great Adirondack video. The camera work (and the food) looked awesome! But twelve hours of rain was nothing. This spring in Central NY it seemed like we had twelve WEEKS of rain. Looking forward to your next adventure!
Love the nature sounds of Inspiration Falls. We've done occasional road tripping since our early 40's and last year we drove to the ADK, ferry to VT, back to NY, crossing into Canada following Lake Champlain to see Montreal, then come drove eastward to Gaspe region then NScotia back into ME-- just admiring nature...Nice, pro vlog...I thought this was an ad...love your compact RV, Mjke n Jen...Will follow your moves.
I live south of the finger lakes region south of the great Seneca Lake. I'm glad you enjoyed the wonderful wine we have in our state and appreciate the beauty of our state parks.
It's WEST from Lake George to the Finger Lakes, and it's WEST from the Finger Lakes to Letchworth State Park! He's even pointing to the map as he says it! Sorry, just thought it was funny.
If you two are going toward Watkins Glen, there is a free boondockng location nearby. It’s called Sugar Hill Forest off from Fire Tower Road. There are flushing toilets, water and some nice trails for you and the dog. The falls are wonderful at Watkins Glen too.
No one from Upstate goes to those massive campgrounds with tons of people. Those are for the city dwellers from NYC and Jersey. We avoid them like the plague.
I really enjoyed your video! Because of you I joined the outdoor women's group "Sisters On The Fly" and I will be in Central NY region this fall with SOTF. Thanks for posting such informative videos. HAPPY TRAVELS 😊
Many great childhood memories of camping with my grandparents at Letchworth State Park. Question... Do you have a leveling system on your RV or do you just park on level spots?
We are planning a trip to the Adirondacks this summer. I am fearful of roads with steep drop-offs and no guiderail. Can you tell me if there are campgrounds or roads we should avoid? Thanks!
Loved this Video and are going to add this trip to our bucket list. Can you please send me the link to the video that shows the app you use to monitor the temperature of your RV for Bo? We are purchasing a B and will need to monitor the temp in our RV for our two babies. Thanks!
I grew up 6 miles from Letchworth State park. I think some of the campgrounds need some help. I think they are working on it. In my opinion they should have invested in the campground over the nature center.
What a Independence Day Treat! 🎉 🇺🇸 Whew ...if a campground has over 500 spots ....mind as well camp in the middle of any big city ....not for me 😕 You've visited areas that I am familiar with .....love Lake George. When I was a younger NP, we had our yearly professional organizational coventions at the Sagamore on Lake George ....simply wonderful! Glad Tom and Pam gave you a tour by water. Love the Blue Heron pottery! Finger Lakes wineries are the best! Love ice wine from the region 🍷 Letchworth is a natural wonder ....so beautiful .... wonderful Arts & Crafts Fair there in the fall 🍁 You're coming west ....will you visit my home town .... Grand Island? Thoroughly enjoy your channel ... love Bo 💕 he enjoyed that boat trip 🚤 😊
If i knew you wanted to stay in Lake George, you could have stayed on our property! I did notice a LTV heading down Assembly Point last week...might it have been you?
Bo is such a handsome boy. What kind of dog breed is he? (I'm sure you've answered this a million times. Sorry 😉✌️) Also, is that whole park so "festive"? And if so, what brand of ear plugs do you recommend? 😉🎶🎶🎶🎶
Bo is a Norwegian Elkhound.... the Lake George Escape, surprisingly for all the people who were there, quieted down completely at 10 PM. And yes, it was pretty much that crowded and busy throughout the whole park. There were no vacancies.

Being from Indiana, when you hear New York your mind immediately goes to the city. Easy to forget that there is so much more than NYC to explore
I live about an hour north of Letchworth in Rochester :) so glad you enjoyed my area!!
Upstate NY is so beautiful!! I spent 7 years up there, and still missing the nature and people. Thanks for sharing.
"It rained for 12 hours."
I had to laugh a little.
Welcome to NY.
We love our Adirondacks!
The Adirondacks are underated. It's the largest piece of protected land in the US yet barely anyone outside of NY knows about it. It's basically the Smokey Mountains x10.
New york best state
I loved seeing Letchworth in your video, I grew up only a few miles from there! It is so beautiful.
Next best thing to being there in person is watching your video - thank you!
We are from NY and we appreciate you showing how beautiful it is. TY XO Donna
We are from northwest Ohio and can’t believe we have not yet made it to the Adirondacks yet. So beautiful!
There is so much to see. You need to come on out!
You guys are the cutest couple! Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Pottery is very cool I did it all throughout high school. And later got a kick wheel and a kiln. And did some pottery .my sister just came yesterday and took a piece of pottery back with her.

I live right at the Adirondack foothills! Just about ten minutes from Lake George I'm very happy that you're showing the beauty of this area!

I enjoy your videos so much. Thank you for taking us along. Have a great week.
Love the pottery, such a treat to see and experience the pottery personally. The case of wine for a cup and sponge holder, Mike did well in that deal.

No one from Upstate goes to those massive campgrounds with tons of people. Those are for the city dwellers from NYC and Jersey. We avoid them like the plague.
Exactly, oh and canadians
Twice you mentioned traveling east. Lake George to the Finger Lakes is west. And Finger Lakes to Letchworth is west!
Lake George is east lol I live in the north east, lake placid area. Lake George is right off the coast basically.
I really enjoyed your video! Because of you I joined the outdoor women's group "Sisters On The Fly" and I will be in Central NY region this fall with SOTF. Thanks for posting such informative videos. HAPPY TRAVELS 😊

Thank you and going to see the State Campground! I can’t handle crowds when on vacation. No thanks Lake George Camping but it is a lovely lake.
Many great childhood memories of camping with my grandparents at Letchworth State Park. Question... Do you have a leveling system on your RV or do you just park on level spots?
That big State Park looks like Travers City State Park!
That's a part of New York I've never seen....but I'm going to!! Thanks!!
We are planning a trip to the Adirondacks this summer. I am fearful of roads with steep drop-offs and no guiderail. Can you tell me if there are campgrounds or roads we should avoid? Thanks!

Elkies are the best to travel with. My Toby didn't care if we were on the road, or on a lake, he just loved being out.
Nice old guys!
Highly disappointed in the wines of the finger lakes
Poor starving artists
