This generations needs more fathers like you god bless you Robert!
Floyd reminds me of my grandfather. Glad to see you keep him in the mix. This is a lifestyle that should never be forgotten!!
Couldn’t agree more!
Exactly..!! Missed my late grandpa so much..
Rob's soul WHOOPED dat stroke!
I love to see you eat more of the little things that make big man, don,t want to eat,🇧🇿✊✊✊🇧🇿🇧🇿🇧🇿😎😎😱😱😱stay safe
One of the best if not the best outdoor channel there is on TH-cam!! Thank you for great content all these years watching you!
Wow, thanks!
Lol the original sack lunch. Beef and sheep are really good with ranch
Oh my gosh!!! This get the award for the best comment in the last couple years!!! The original sack lunch!!!!
You're all nuts!
Where's lunch? It's in the bag!!!
Rob it's so great to see you doing so well since your stroke. God Bless
Robert it takes a special kind of man to do what you do! Thanks for teaching us so much knowledge that would otherwise be lost to our next generation..
I appreciate that
I really mean it Robert! God bless you and yours!@@deermeatfordinner
Did anybody notice, how much ROB was laughing when he was doing the cooking part of the video????.
I was laughing with him also.
My whole life we’ve always joked about eating that…. I was laughing at my past conversations!!! It seemed so much worse than it actually was! We had a ton of fun!!!
@@deermeatfordinner . We cooked a pig's liver one evening. We were both intensive care nurses, but, let me tell you the smell was so bad we were both heaving.
The cow is too cute. Robert God bless you and your family.
Watching Rob squirm over the Rocky Mountain oysters made this video the best one yet and I’ve been watching for years🤣
I could not stop laughing!.
Ya man it was lots of fun! I had the idea in my head that they were gonna be gooey…. It wasn’t that bad, but lots of fun!
@@deermeatfordinner.... I've had them but it was many years ago. Definitely needed the hot sauce.
My dad told the story back when he worked. He took his lunch to work and he had a fellow employee that would steal a sandwich or a biscuit or whatever out of his lunch so he had mom cook up some mountain oysters and put them in the biscuit, he called it sausage biscuits. The guy stole one eat it then told dad how good it was then dad told him him what he ate and he never had any more problem out of that man stealing any of his lunch.
😂😂😂
L O L "like soft chicken gizzards ". "wouldn't wanna live off em"
Instant classic episode!
God bless.

Hey Robert my 6 year old son Brayden absolutely loves your channel!! I am so grateful to have wholesome content like yours to watch these days esp for my young boys. He is so inspired by your channel he convinced me to help him create a couple catch clean and cool videos and throw them up on TH-cam. I’m in the Marine Corps and was gone for a while so it was a great way for me to connect with him after I got back. We were super bummed we missed the chance to meet you at the sportsman show in Harrisburg a year or two ago. We are in the west palm beach and Jupiter area in the next few days and I know this is a long shot but if there’s somewhere in the area you’re doin a meet and greet it would absolutely make his whole year to meet you.
Back in my younger days when I was cowboying on an active cattle ranch come spring we would cut the calves we would usually get two or three five gallon buckets of calf fries. They were pretty good seasoned up and fried. The joke was you will like em and eat em till you get one that is under cooked then you will never eat another.😂
The first time I ever tried them, pretty sure I got one that was under cooked!!!
@deermeatfordinner haha that will do it for sure. Iam ready for you to bust out those electric reels and get on some tiles and ya gotta bust a 250+ lb swordfish Sir. Iam already ready for the water to warm up iam ready to get the dive gear and the spear guns out...
That sounds like a horrible experience. Hopefully when I get the chance to try them, they are prepared correctly. You can have the tastiest ingredients in the world but If you don’t know how to treat them, you could end up with something truly disgusting.
Mav progressing nicely!
He’s growing up! Wait till the next video!!! You’ll see him go to work!!!
Come On Rob, that's pushing the "All Men Die, Few Men Actually Live" to unreachable heights! :)
Lmbo!!! Ya that’s pushing it!!!
Bro, I’m from Florida. I’m retired and disabled, but I would love to come just to tour your place. I can hunt but I can’t run or stand too long. Retired and disabled vet.
Keep up the vids brother. I rewatch them!!
I'm from Jamaica and i grew up roasting them with black pepper and salt. Robert, you need to try em roasted.
Down south, the food comes to you.
Glad to see your recovery going so well. Like you, my year last year was interrupted with some major medical issues. But I am not dead yet and plan on keeping on keeping on for a long time.
Can you share a video with more explaining of the castration and why it's needed. Thank you for all the videos, our family really enjoys watching.
Yeah, I don't understand the point of letting him go.
@@Josef_RHe's done a video on that before. After castration, the boar stops producing testosterone and the meat becomes much more tender. It takes time though for the testosterone to leave the body so they let them go and harvest them in the future.
I live here in Northern Colorado and we have bull testicles. Better known as, Rocky Mountain oysters. 😂❤ True story!
Is it true they taste just like any other organ meat? If so, I’m not offput in the slightest as I love offal. Mainly heart and liver, but open to trying everything else as well.
Call them whatever you want, I will always call them TESTICLES ! 🤣
If you’d be willing to try them again I have a suggestion for you. Clean them and soak them in seasoned buttermilk for a couple hours and then dredge in seasoned flour and deep fry them! They’re really good that way! Works the same way for Calf fries! You kept throwing me off when you called that hog you castrated a bar hog! Then you called it by the right name of a barrow hog! I Love your videos especially when you do catch and cook! God Bless from Caldwell Ohio!
He's calli g it a boar hog which means male unlike sow hog which is female.
@@OneOut1he’s right! I was calling it a bar hog, which is short for Barrow. Thats a male (boar) who’s been cut. If a sow is young and hasn’t had a litter of piglets we call her a gilt. A young boar is called a shoat.
LOL Rob get him a new knife
Thanks for the video! DMFD
You bet!
@@deermeatfordinner- Robert, I have an AR-10T in .308 with a Burris Eliminator 3 mounted on it with a bipod, firing Hornady American Gunner rounds. Have you fired one yet and would you be interested in trying it out on hogs to see how it performs?
Watching from the tree stand here in Alabama on the last day of the season hunt!
Would love to see you and Bluegabe do another video. It's been too long. 🙏
i always like watching these type of videos u make catching the hog
Guys, every year I'm Virginia City Nevada. Close to my house I'm Carson City Nevada, the have a HUGH Rocky Mountan Cook off. I was very hesitant th see first time I went but boy was I shocked. Very very tender meat. Cometo Northern Nevada sometime Rob. We are 20 mins from Reno and 30 min from Lake Tahoe. It's beautiful up here and we have all seasons. Love to you all ❤
I've been following your videos for a long time. Really enjoy them. The one about skunk and the rocky mountain oysters made me laugh out loud watching your expressions. I live in rural Arkansas and I know several who really like rocky mountain oysters. But I like higher up on the hog myself! Appreciate your stand and your faith. We need more people like you in our world. Good job!
Hey Robert, I’m sitting here watching your video like always and it’s just so amazing how far you have come in such a short time God is great. God is good God is everything thank you for all the years of making these videos and you are my favorite TH-camr, been here from the beginning keep doing what you’re doing definitely working
Wow, thank you
I love Rocky Mountain Oysters it’s one of my favorite foods to eat of all time
Maverick seems like " Oh happy camper " ... enjoyed the vid.. take care Robert
I am disabled after hurting my back real badly at Work and would love to come rent that AirBNB and do some fishing and Hog Hunting and enjoy some Rocky Mountain Oysters😁
Rob that was so sweet of you helping that baby 🐄 and your dog being it's mama was so cute 🥰
Have been waiting for this video to come out!
Hope you enjoyed it!
My grandma used to fry mountain oysters. When my grandfather used to cut his hogs.
Great to see you spreading the knowledge of all natural foods and where they come from. Everything on that hog is edible but the oink. Love your videos Rob!
Love the videos man....need more with Mr. Floyd.
The taste test had my cracking up ! I love it🤣
So glad you adopted camo. Good on you.
I cant believe you never had rocky mountain oysters before. It was the main part of church potlucks out in south dakota. great memories
Yupp any grandpa in Illinois would always bring up Rocky Mountain Oysters when cooking with the guys, they loved them.
This channel on TH-cam has got all other Outdoor channels beat by far. Thanks Robert God bless
love the videos
Quote of the video: "You wouldn't want to live off of them." Lol
That’s a fact!
The best way to cook them after removing the outer membrane is sauté them in butter and once before totally cooked you just add lemon and garlic mix !
Robert Harrington I love your videos keep up the great work
Just in case you were wondering… there’s no H.
Ok Robert Arrington I never been hunting before. I have been a big fan of yours for over a year I like the videos keep up the great work.
@@user-gy3rl6eq9bman it would be great to see you on your first hunt or eat the dinner from your first hunt… it’s amazing!!
@@deermeatfordinner well I don’t know the first thing about hunting or anything like that
I’ve eaten Rocky Mountain oysters several times. They are pretty good. As a kid related to sheep farmers we had lamb frys fairly often. It’s all good!
I remember when my buddy and I had Rocky Mountain Oysters. Was at a game feed, and I showed up with a buddy, and he thought they were nuggets. He asked for the ketchup, and when he ate them, he said these are squishy and salty and said they aint bad, though. Then they told him they were nuts and he spit it out 😂 and his face was priceless. I tried it as well, and they ain't for me. I will always remember that story, lol.
The look on your face while Floyd's slicing the nads 😂
Best channel on YT!!!
British songwriter-singer Cat Stevens (1967) - "The first cut is the deepest"
Rocky Mountain oysters are freaking awesome if they're cooked right
My kids nd i love your channel
Gotta admit, winced a little when the deed was done 🤣 Always bring Mav along. He's real buddy.
love the videos man keep up the good work 👍
Thanks, will do!
love the videos and would love to learn more about hunting and be able to do it one day!
Rocky Mountain Oysters are awesome as long as they're cleaned and prepared right. Floyd's got it down!
Rob, if and when I finally get out to visit you, and you try to feed me Rocky Mountain oysters… maaaaaannnnn!! 😂
Armadillo or coyote I heard coyote is good love the channel though keep up the good work TGBTG
Great idea with making an Air bnb. I think lots of people would really enjoy it out there! Aloha from Hawaii 🤙🏽
Love that dog maverick
I Love MAVERICK! Robert please bring him along every time you get the chance! 🤠
As far as eating Rocky Mtn. Oysters ? Nahhhh I'll Pass bro.
You guys are pretty hilarious! Good job getting them down.
Because of you and my family history I’m looking into hunting trips down here in Florida. I found a couple places that’ll take you hunting, all equipment included. My family were hunters. I remember my grandfather hunting in Connecticut with his dogs. Unfortunately for me, he went blind before I was able to go learn to hunt with him. I have to get into hunting this year!!
It's always great to watch ur vids, wish 1 day I could experience all this with u robert,,Keep gd guys.god bless,,,from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹
Yes, please make it an Airbnb! We’re considering renting your place in Mississippi for our trip in May down to Louisiana.
I can promise you the place in Mississippi is epic!!! We’re gonna turn the Florida ranch into a full experience!!! Love to have yall!!!
@@deermeatfordinner we’ve watched your videos while you’re there and I have it saved on my Airbnb wishlist account! And yesss, that would be awesome for sure. Looking forward in hearing details when/if you do make the Florida lodge available for rent. We met you guys in Montgomery Alabama last year, such great people and love supporting your family/channel!
I would love to come on over and stay at the airbnb. Sounds like the best time ever. Great idea
😮 You are the best Rob great video love your channel Pete cape town south Africa
Work at a wild game processor down here in the florida panhandle..
As we deal with many of wild hogs. I didn’t have an older gentleman come up there and say he wanted the tongues out of them. Crazy as it sounds I told him I’d cut a few out under one condition. He cooked it his way and let us try it. Was truly unbelievable tasted just like steak if not better.
Unsure of how he did it as it’s been awhile ago! But he did say when he started he boiled them in seasoning then scraped them down! If I knew how he did it I’d eat them any day of the week!
Hello Robert! I live in Hungary. I love your videos! This video was great! I really liked it, I had fun! I especially thank you for seeing how you spend time together with your father and how you prepared the food together. This was great to see, I wish you both good health and many more videos together! It was kind of you to mention HUNGARY! ❤️😊 Unfortunately, I don't know English, so I'm just guessing what you're talking about, because I don't understand. However, I heard his name in the country when you said it. Because of the baking? ☺️Since it is well known in the world that we Hungarians can breadcrumb everything, we are famous for this, and there are many hunters here as well. Pay attention! I'll tell you how we do it, it's a secret recipe: 1, flour, 2, eggs, 3, crumbs (bread or buns) Try it next time, it's delicious! 😂 I'm waiting for the next video.

I have been watching your videos for 4 years now
Love your channel
😂😂 thank you for the laughs. I havent been brave enough yet to try these.
New edition to the deer family, This is got be the most funniest episode 😂 come on Robert you eat everything and this is the first time you almost turned down something. Lucky it’s Floyd if it was someone else you don’t said NO 😅
Great video Robert. As always, god bless you, your family and friends. Great lifestyle.
😮 omg it's so amazing job maverick done great job maverick ❤
I think making that a airbnb would be a wonderful idea. If I can come hunt with you. I'll pay for it.
Love the content and great to see you back to good health
Robert you are fkn amazing person. You know what’s crazy when I watch your videos I’m not just watching a video you some how manage to teleport me there and I feel like I’m there experiencing with you. I was laughing with you guys the whole time with Rocky Mountain oysters 😂 freaking awesome man👏
Back in the day we boiled the mountain oysters first, then fried....we soaked them in vinegar and water first for 15 minutes
That membrane isn't removed from the meat. I'm sure you could clean it better. You're still the best hunt/cook Chanel. Be blessed and blessed be
As a vet tech on surgery day we would cut and then see which ones would stick to the wall when thrown, most did. This was the boss's idea.
I haven't tried it myself but I've seen others take the tongue of a mule deer boil it, peel it, then cut it into pieces and sear that with butter and garlic. You should try it. Keep the videos coming.
That's a great idea!
Looks like yall had a Ball eating those Rocky Mountain oysters. Hats off to Floyd. Hes a real Nut
Rocky Mountain oyster are actually bull balls
I’ve never heard of this, so that’s the best name I could think of…
Mr Floyd knifing nut chunks right off the membrane into the eggs was sure to add extra flavor!!
Robert, I've got to say it takes BALLS to eat that!
Awesome job Mr.rob I have always wanted to trap hogs in a homemade trap like you do
I’m like to eat boar meat yummy lol Mr rob
@@TH-camtail I was just being respectful
Couple things. You are crazy for getting in there and cutting that hog like that. I wouldn't want to get in there with him. lol. Never tried the "oysters" but a buddy swears they are good. Weirdest thing I have eaten is guinea pig in Peru. It was actually really good. Tasted like fried squirrel.
They are way easier to peel that membrane off before you slice them and I have ate them a lot
love the vids
😂 Nah Rob wait until Gerhard Vos sees you eat it 😂😂
I love this channel!
Every hunter’s famous words “ TASTE LIKE CHICKEN” lmao😅
Catch, clean and cook Muskrat and Beaver! (Pro tip: BBQ the Beaver after pressure cooking. - Tastes like BBQ beef!
Rob you've got to skin em clean em up fry em and have a ball ! Lol 🤣
Wow,😂. I would never eat that! Crazy 😮. Awesome vedio
Great idea on the Airbnb. Let us know when it’s done. Me and my wife need a destination the end of July.
I loved it. Keep it coming
